Close to Mt Rusmore

Older campground bath houses need updating. Pull thru sites. Very friendly staff.

Great stay

This was our home base for our South Dakota trip. The owners and workers keep this place really well. We used the showers, camp store (ice cream and soda), laundry ($2 wash, $1 dry), firewood, and the pool! We really liked the layout of the campground and differing terrain. We were afraid it would…

Front of the campground needs a bit of work.

For the price of the stay I was expecting a bit nicer site, but the back of the campground may be laid out nicer that then very front where we were placed. They had us use two spaces in section B which made the the water and sewer hook-ups awkward to hook up due to the neighbors hooking up on the…

If I could it would get zero stars...

First off allow me to set the scene. We came into town for the rodeo so we knew it would be busy and lodging would be sparse. We liked this option for its location to downtown deadwood and the trolley. We opted for the camping cabin as we knew it would be warm. Upon arrival I received the key…

Great quiet campground with Amazing scenery

The campground is spacious and nice. The overgrown pine trees in the Black Hills mountains are great for shade. The water in the lake is the cleanest reservoir lake water that I can remember. My 4 year old had a blast swimming, kayaking and enjoying the scenery.

Great place to camp

Wyatts hideaway is a great place to camp. Wyatts is right by the red water river which is a great turning river. Wyatts campground has a lot of trees too so there is enough shade but you will get enough sun.

Great camping trip

This place was amazing. This campground was so calm and quiet. When camping their is a small calm swimming stream that runs right through the campground. If you get bored the campground is right next to the fish hatchery and a big park. There is also a bike path and some small mountain bike trails.

Great private camp in pines, excellent access to Custer and surrounding areas. Very close to Michelson Trail. Sites are well maintained and provide some privacy.

Good, not great campground

The best thing about this campground was the host. He keeps a clean, if primitive, campground and seems genuinely interested in the comfort of the guests. Poor Verizon reception. Clean vault toilets, no sanitizer or hand wash stations tho.

Peaceful campground just near Devil’s Tower

This is a perfect spot close to the highway if you want easy access and to forget how close you are to getting back on the road. Easy access to spots. There’s something for any tent, RV, travel trailer you wanna bring.
