Buffalo Gap National Grasslands

Dispersed camping along a cliff line south of Wall, SD puts rigs well outside town with room to spread out. Dirt roads into the site run smooth enough that a 35-foot motorhome towing a car made it in without issue. Camping runs roughly a mile along the cliff edge, with sites further north facing open Badlands views on one side and ranch land on the other. Pets are allowed. Badlands Dispersed Camping is a nearby alternative for campers wanting a different setup.

Super awesome spot

It’s so beautiful out here- but WINDY- gorgeous sunsets, sunrises, and stars. The national park itself is breathtaking. Rapid city is surprisingly stocked up with all you need. Overall great stay!

Badlands view cliffside

Stayed 2 nights. Cliffside line of RV’s with plenty of space. A mile or longer along the cliff. Further north was better view of Badlands on one side and cow ranch on the other.

Sitetowards the north end on corner looking back along the cliff.
