Tom’s Campground

Nice rural setting, peaceful and nice scenery. Showers could be updated and it does cost 25 cents for a 7 minute shower. Camping sites reasonably priced only take cash or a check. Would have no problems staying there again.

Quiet, clean, comfortable

Car camping in my Prius and wanted to stay in a non electric (ie tent) space for $12 but all the tent spaces didn’t seem to have anywhere flat to park. From what I could see, most of the nonelectric/tent were down at the bottom of slopes. Ended up paying the $18 and staying in a nice electric spot…

Great Trails, Unique Campground

We knew very little about this park going in, but are so glad we’ve discovered it now! All of the hiking trails , but particularly the Flint Rock & Weeping Rock trails, rank up there with the best hikes we’ve ever done. This is the only state park with an actual swimming pool (additional use…

  • use the west tower for optimal sunset viewing (which I did not do.)
  • pool and splash pad
  • beautiful overlook at the top of the mound

Beautiful Park

The park is beautiful, the campsites are very nice. There’s lots to do including swimming and kayaking on the lake. The only downside for us was that it was very loud due to it being a holiday weekend filled with families and kids. So it’s not the most quiet place but it is quite lovely. Sites 21,…

Quiet and friendly RV camping

This is a RV campground, with both seasonal and weekend sites. Coin laundry and shower room with 4 showers. They have nice level site in a grassy and sandy area, with enough tree coverage for shade but not so much you’re freaking out parking your camper. Big rig friendly. Decent wi-fi and plenty of…

Beautiful views and peaceful camping!

Beautiful, spacious, and quiet camping and state park. The hiking is awesome! We hiked the Bluff Trail which has lots of hills and steepness, skinny trail with some drop offs but it was fun! My daughter was a little nervous during the hike but I felt safe so nothing to worry about. Just take…

Quaint and Quiet

I’ve always loved this small quiet campground, even as a teenager. Though I notice that it has gained a lot of popularity in recent years! Campsites are well spread out to give you some privacy, but it still has that “campground feel” so expect neighbors. Though there is a dump station, I would not…

  • We were able to find a large, spacious sight.
  • Another picture of the space. we definitely had to be picky about spots in order to find something we’d be able to squeeze into
  • the river is beautiful and so are the trails

Very Quiet and Serene

Very quiet and private sites. Lots of hiking that you can walk to from campground. I really liked going into the tower to see the views.

We went later in the year and the ice cream shop was closed. Not a whole lot to do nearby but that's ok for a quick nature escape!

We also went to the Cave…

Twas cold

We decided to camp here last minute, booked online and saved a few bucks! There’s some neat camp spots in a grassy area for tents and some electric hook ups. I think there were showers here too! I enjoyed the evening here!

Lots of Wildlife, Nice Campsite!

We stayed here last summer and had the biggest site we’ve ever had in all our camping trips. Had an owl friend spend two days with us in a tree! Beautiful sites and the paved roads are great for biking!

Beautiful Views

We visited in 2018 and the views are breathtaking! The sand caves are cool, lots of unique hiking features. The nature program was great for our son who was 2 at the time.

Lovely State Park

Wyalusing has all the beauty of two rivers converging, hills and bluffs, trees of all kinds and great hiking trails. The camp grounds are clean and quiet. We had a wonderful fall weekend here.

Quiet, woodsy, nice for tenting

I camped at New Glarus Woods for two nights during a warm stretch in November, 2020 while hiking the Ice Age Trail. Wooded campsites with fire rings. Clean, pit toilets and water pumps. Definitely a great campground for those looking to car camp while segment hiking the Ice Age Trail.
