Little BIG county park with tons of great things to do for the adventurer in you!!!
I love this campgrounds. Big mature forest with water access, boat launches, swimming, fishing. Camping sites are very nice and level w majority elec. Wood available for fires an reasonable. Trails for hiking and lots of wildlife. Kids will love it. We stayed from Sunday thru Wednesday. Very quiet and clean. This is a County Park. The best for the price.

Firewood permits are required and only sold from 8am - 8pm The permit lasts for one day and can only be purchased from one locatIon.
Sites have a little bit of trees between for privacy. Lots of families. Lots of stuff to do. Nice traIls and single-track. Heads up there is a daily fee for disk golf course.
For those requiring cell service, i had 3 bars LTE with Verizon at my site.
Two stars for the firewood hours and privacy (I prefer more between my neighbors and I). Also, not sure about swimming in the water as there was neon green (greener than Chicago River on St. Pats) stuff washed up on the beach.
