Reservations are available at this private campground in Bayfield, Wisconsin, with nightly rates running $25 to $35 and full hookup options for RVs up to 50 feet. The campground sits on forested land near Lake Superior, and its layout follows the contour of a hillside. Sites are level, but the internal roads slope throughout, which reviewers note makes biking and walking around camp more effort than flat-ground alternatives. Drive-in access is straightforward, and the campground provides electric, water, and sewer hookups alongside a dump station, showers, drinking water, and WiFi.
Cleanliness stands out in multiple reviews. Bathrooms get particular attention, described as well-maintained and consistently tidy. Jim sums up the practical appeal: "Very clean, good for all sort of rigs and hookup needs." The campground also has a swimming hole on site. One note worth flagging: mini-golf is listed as an amenity on the campground's website, but reviewers report an additional per-person charge of $5 to $7 to use it.
Location is one of the campground's strongest practical assets. Bayfield serves as the departure point for Apostle Islands boat tours and the Madeline Island ferry, making this a functional base for exploring the archipelago. Nearby alternatives include Apostle Islands Area RV park and Camping and Lake Superior Lodge for campers weighing options in the corridor. Pets are welcome. If the Apostle Islands are on your itinerary, this campground puts the water access within easy reach.
