Nice spot, warm showers, good views

I stayed for one night on my drive down the Mississippi. Easy campground, toilets were clean and showers were warm. Beautiful sunset from the ridge. Take a look at the campsite map before booking because half of the campsites at Wisconsin Ridge have beautiful views and half are in the woods. Did a…

I love this small but mighty state park

This is a small state park in terms of overall number of campsites, but its network of hiking and horseback riding trails is extensive. What makes this state park particularly interesting from a camping perspective are the walk-in(or cart in) sites. There are 12 sites you can't drive to, and the…

Nice state forest with trout fishing

Iowa only has a few state forests and this one has something the others do not... trout fishing.

There are actually three campgrounds in YRSF... one on Little Paint Creek, one equestrian campground on Little Paint Creek, and a campground on Paint Creek. I have stayed at both non-equestrian…

We love this place

My family really enjoys this camp ground. Located very close to the Wisconsin Dells it provides a way to relax after a fun filled day in the Dells. The WIFI throughout the camp ground is really weak so plan on relieing on you cell phone's data plan. The pool is nice, great for sunbathing or playing…

Ok for first outing

The staff were super friendly. This was our first outing with our new camper and it was fine. The 30 Amp outlet didn't work on our site but thankfully we had out 20 Amp adapter with us. Our site was also kind of small for our trailer. This campground has a ton of potential and could use some…

Good/quiet go to campground

This campground is like your ma and pa place. Staff was super friendly and so was the other campers staying there, kids and adults waved to us. A few activities every weekend and really enjoyed the charity bingo, it brought everyone together..... Now for the disappointment, we went when it was…

Great campground and water park

Has to be a top campground for amenities in the area. Our kids loved it. We will be adding this to our regular summer stops.

This is a beautiful site, and I would give more stars. But, there was no camp host, no one at the office to check in when we arrived, no one cleaning the bathrooms, and no one enforcing the 10pm quiet hour rule. I don’t mind the pit toilets, but at least clean the building. And at least have enough…

a gem overlooking the Missisippi!

Wow - well done, Wisconsin. What a beautiful park to pull into after a long day of driving. Lovely drive in to the park and then to pull up to an immaculate campsite was a treat. Fireflies emerged as we began to setup camp and we watched the sunset over the Missippi before calling it a night. Great…

My favorite campground

Cedar hill Wisconsin is a clothing optional campground so I enjoy it very much. The entire campground is located at the top of a 1000 ft.high bluff. So all the views of fellow campers and the Vista are awesome.

Reasonable campground near the dells

Clean friendly family owned. Sites are relatively small and close together. You will not have any privacy here. About a third of the sites are seasonal residents. Pool was clean. Washrooms we’re clean. Most of the sites are on dirt, some have minimal grass, a few are all grass. This isn’t a…
