Nice

We were supposed to stay 2 nights at Frontier Bar & Grill down the road, but left there after one night ( didn't care for Frontier).

This CG is very nice, no shade, but the views are fantastic. Beach, bar & grill on site. Marina on site, lots of boaters coming & going. Wish we could have stayed another day or two.

Beautiful spot at a great price!

This spot is a few feet away from Lake Superior. Water and electric. We had site 19 on pavement but it wasn't level if that matters to you. The campground has an upper and lower area, and a marina. 2 full bathhouses with showers. Showers are pay showers, I think it was $1 for 4 minutes and add another quarter for another minute. Not bad. The facilities were very clean. The bar on the other side of the road was a nice distraction from the rain. The owner is a friendly guy and his granddaughter was the waitress. They only serve white fish sandwiches or made to order pizza, great place. There are two ways to access the beach, one on either side of the marina, there are large rocks blocking the path, but you can get down to the sand on a trail a little up the road. No phone service though $20 per night, we'd do it again! Great place!

Good for RVs

Not wooded or private but amazing beach and lots of driftwood! The showers are pay showers but they are available as well as nice bathrooms. I’m not a fan of side by side camp sites, I would rather have space in between but if this is the type of campgrounds you like, this is a good option.

Not many sites, nice view of the lake

This was a manicured campground and served it's purpose. We were heading towards the south end of lake superior and needed a place to stop. If you like commercial-style campgrounds, you like this one. The site layout is easily accessed. Electricity at all sites. No sewer hookup. No trees, just a nice level pad.

Brand new!

This campground is brand new as of 2020... there was a bad storm that washed the whole site out but a lot of work has been done to get it back up and running. It’s such a gem of a park! The sites don’t have much privacy but they’ve got a great view of Lake Superior. There are restrooms on site with paid showers and a brand new playground.
