Our favorite state park that no one around has ever heard of. We had so much fun exploring the sheer wilderness of this place, all the different camping areas, canoe and kayak launches, picnic areas and trails. There are lake views (and beaches!) almost anywhere you look. The shower areas and vault…

We stayed over Memorial Day Weekend at site 183. It was spacious and very well kept, with a great view of the lake. Wry easy to back in and get set up, almost level and took very little adjustment to get our spot in order. Neighbors were friendly, kids found other kids to play with, and lots of…

We picked site 2 and wish we picked 11 or 12. Those sites looked more secluded, where ours was right next to the road/entrance. All in all, the park was really clean, and the bluffs are beautiful. Not terrible, but should have picked a further site.
This campground fills up fast due to how close it is to the Dells so plan ahead. Also, the spots seem to be mostly seasonal spots so that makes it harder to get in as well.
Close to Dells strip, has a great spot to swim with big inflatables for kids to climb on.
The site was nice, a pull…
Nice campground, beautiful stream runs through it. Mountains, valleys, just gorgeous. Clean bathrooms with hot water. Shed with dry wood for purchase. Electricity, potable water connections, sewer.
Very nice owners, but we were on top of our neighbors, an employee was driving a tractor around in order to make a burn pile at 9 PM. And there was a street light directly adjacent to our site, shining into our tent all night... nothin like the great doors!
Beautiful place with a horrible past. Lots of sites and boat launches. Sad history of the place.
We stayed here last summer and it’s a great place to explore the region near the Mississippi River. Lots of amazing views, interactive signs and information that was perfect for our 4 year old. Close to the river and the town which was beautiful also!
We stayed here for one night in August 2020 en route to black hills. Nice site(number 80), good shade and privacy between sites. Some mosquitos in evening.
We went to this campground for the first time this past September. There is tons to do here including fishing and boating. Nice clean campground. Far drive to any nearby stores but a lot of bars and restaurants nearby. Carlson’s is the best! Had fun at the beach and down the road you can go tubing…

We had a group in sites 17-18-19 the weekend of June 26-27, 2020. We boated in and some people also walked in with more equipment. Beaches are sandy and sites large and with 3 reserved it was very isolated. The 3 sites had one porta potty to share which was fine since we were all together. Only…
So, like other reviewers, I’ll warn you that the park itself is brutally buggy, but you’re in the woods on a peninsula. It’s to be expected, so I don’t hold that against the campground.
This is a typical WI state park campground. The sites are spacious and very wooded. Amenities are few. If you…
Tried to stay here. Booked a site over the phone, got a reservation but was not told a confirmation number or even what site number we would have. Had to get off the line quickly as they made it seem like they were too busy to talk to me. Called back weeks later to confirm and got a site number,…
Best campground in the Wisconsin Dells by far.
Perrot has it all: hiking, biking, paddling and camping and that makes it a popular place in the summer. It was totally booked the weekend I stayed here. Site 23E was not the best due to the location of the electric pedestal which was more set up for tent camping than an RV, but made it work,…
