Good campground, good hiking

We had a great site with room for both our truck camper and canopy/tent setup. Great hiking, although the falls would’ve been more impressive if we’d had more recent rainfall. Had a fun time fishing but there wasn’t much of a pier. Found a picnic spot along the shoreline and fished from there…

Not far from Dubuque and Maquoketa

We stayed there during the week and it seemed pretty quiet. The shower facilities weren't bad but they have sulfites in the water so it stinks a little. Fishing seemed popular in catfish creek about 50 feet away from our sight. There is a sign that states firewood is for sale at 6pm but the ranger…

Nice Quiet Park

This is a great park for those who like peaceful camping. Quite a few pull through sites. Owners are super friendly and helpful. No wifi but firewood is very reasonable on the honor system. 10 pieces for $5.00. Checks or cash only.

Nice spot, warm showers, good views

I stayed for one night on my drive down the Mississippi. Easy campground, toilets were clean and showers were warm. Beautiful sunset from the ridge. Take a look at the campsite map before booking because half of the campsites at Wisconsin Ridge have beautiful views and half are in the woods. Did a…

Perfect Place to Stay

Cannot say enough about this campground. Good clean restrooms. Plenty of space. Quiet. LOTS of shade. Fun place to be in a thunder storm!

Nice stopping point on a trip

We stayed for a long weekend at the end of June when the campground was almost completely full.  The camp hosts were lovely!  Since we did not have reservations ahead of time, we chose from the walk-in sites, which I believe are the first two loops closest to the entrance.  Those sites, 5-46E, are…

Quiet!

Camped here in a camper van. Very quiet (mid week in September). Very well maintained trails. Most sites are spacious, shady. I did not check out the tent sites, but the one I did see was really nice. A bit of highway noise, certainly nothing bad.

Great Place to Stay

Very nice campground at reasonable price. Water/Elec was $18 dollars night. We stayed just after Labor Day and we were one of 6 trailers in the entire park. The showers and restrooms are what you might expect for an unattended camp ground. We did see a sign in front of a trailer that said camp…

Blanding Landing, USACE (Corps of Engineers) Campground

Quiet, relaxing small campground with super clean hot showers and flush toilets in shower house. Boat ramp, dock fishing, tall trees all over. Shady sites, water pump faucets, dump station. Our first night here the many trains were loud and woke us up, but if you can laugh instead of being annoyed,…

Cozy, basic CG

37 full-hookup sites, some tent sites, all right on edge of town. Adjacent to Kitty Creek, joins Maquoketa River. Some concrete pads, most are gravel, fairly level. Pretty tight layout, average of only 30-40' between sites. New fire rings, picnic tables in good condition. Bakery and other…

Lena Koa

This campground is absolutely wonderful. Spots are spaced apart nicely. Many activities for kids and adults. Also, a pool, showers and if you just want a weekend getaway they have cabins as well.

Will return

Great sites, clean restrooms and showers, super owners We will definitely be back. Only drawback was a little highway noise when the wind was out of the south.

  • Two trailers for rental.

Great Spot on the Mighty Mississippi

I took my children here for years when they were little. As a single mom of 5 it was very manageable. I could see them throughout the entire park. There's fishing, exploring, a playground, and when you see a paddleboat you have time to drive to town before it hits loch & damn #12. It's a…
