GuideThe road is literally called 4WD and not for no reason. We tried taking our class C out by the lake but there was a sudden+steep hole in the path. We knew we couldn’t make it so we tried turning around and got stuck in mud. We paid one of the locals we had talked to earlier to come pull us out. Do not risk this location if you have a big rig especially if rain has been in the forecast. Also the lake is dried up, saw some local cows here tho. That was nice I suppose

GuideBooking just one night with this place gave me an entire year of Dyrt Pro which is a great deal considering it was only $25 (with 10% off if you agree to no cancellation) and each site has electric hookups. There is a well priced gift shop with a few convenience items as well as water access to split rock creek for kayaks or paddle boards. The rock formations by the water are so cool and the camp is right next to devils gulch. There is nowhere to dump or fill water on site but right down the road you can for free. No grocery store in town but there are 2 gas stations one of which serves hot food you can order ahead. Very well kept site ran by the city. 10/10 would recommend

GuideOur 30ft rig had no problems on the road in, it's about 4.5 miles of gravel and 0.5 miles of dirt road. Completely off grid, no amenities, pack in pack out. If you come, PLEASE pack out ALL of your trash! This site needs to stay pristine. Dan is the ranger responsible for this area and he is a very kind man that loves to see people out here enjoying the land, please be considerate towards him and don't leave a mess. LEAVE NO TRACE
