Nice and Quiet

This campground was a great deal for $20 per night with Passport America.  The onsite manager is very friendly and helpful.  Most of the sites are W/E only with a dump on exit.  there are FHU available for $5 more per night.  The property is well kept and there is a pool on the property for use for…

Close to the interstate for easy access, yet surrounded by Sourh Dakota corn fields

An excellent choice for staying if traveling across South Dakota. The sites are gravel, but are all pull through. Most are full hookup, but there is a on site dump station for those with electric only. The swimming pool was an absolute total plus for a hot July day. The park owner Nancy is a…

Great stop for passing through!

This was a free camp area right next to the highway, with easy to follow signs and no type of check in. Great stop for a roadtrip, real relaxed and simple. Basically pick your own spot and set up camp!

(Millions of mayflies at night this time of year- they didn’t bother us too much though)

Very clean, nice campsites and lake

We tent camped for one night! Had nice showers and bathrooms. Also had coin laundry on site. Playground for kids and swimming area in lake. There was hazardous algae in the water when we went, so couldn’t swim.

Real braury and the greatest, most helpful people!

We reserved site #63 for two weeks. It’s a great site in that it is at the end of the row, giving us a ton of green space, is close to the well kept shower house and bathrooms, as well as being just across the street from the beginning of Lake Sharpe, below the Big Bend Dam. Concrete picnic tables…

Decent for a night

Pull through space was tight and not level. However, staff directed us to the space even in a thunderstorm.

Now Circle K Campground and Motel

Just what we wanted for a quick night. Reservations were easy, Mary is helpful. RV sites have full hookups. There is a small motel on site, along with an office with some supplies available. Shower rooms were large and clean. Each site has fire ring and picnic table. It's right off of the…

Gorgeous & Clean

Packed over the weekend but a great culture here, lots of room between sites. Bathrooms and showers kept very clean. Water hookups throughout but we were farther than 50 feet and had to fill up when we arrived. Gravel mound on lots of sites so it was a bit tricky to back in and level but we…

Free, pretty, slightly dirty

This campground is right near the water, there is a breeze and the sound of waves crashing which is lovely. Behind, there are rolling hills and cows. The campground itself is kind of a big grassy/paved area. There are picnic tables. There is a pit toilet which did not smell but did have lots of…

Nice open lot on river

Rough road leading to boat landing lot but luckily not too long. There are a few picnic tables close to the vault toilet on the upper/north end of dyrt lot. We chose to park the campervan east of that along the river bank. Woke up to the sun rising over the Missouri River. Would stop again!
