Family Activities!

Lots of sports and games! We loved the swimming beach with slide and the paddle boats, kayaks, and SUPs. Great playground with beautiful sand, beach volleyball, basketball, and Gaga ball courts. There’s even a game room with a pool table!

Great City Campground

Stayed here one night while on a work trip, trying to maximize summer fun. Remarkably quiet considering it’s right in town. There is a single bathroom with flush toilet and sink, and a single shower room. Both were clean. My site had nicely spaced trees for hanging a hammock and an electric hookup.…

  • Dropbox visible to the left of my car, bathroom located in the building the RV is parked next to.

Well maintained park with nice trails and interesting history

A very beautiful park for a day trip or weekend camping. The trails aren't exhastingly long but are very dynamic and have an abundance of wildlife. The historic area is well kept and very cool so check it out!!

Clean and quiet

We stayed just one night on our way across country. It was mid-week so very quiet and not packed full. The majority of the sites are open and level but not much shade or privacy to be had. The check-in lady was pleasant and accommodating and we were escorted to our site by her husband. We used…

It's In A Small Town, Perfect For A Night

I was driving this way and I needed a place to stay overnight. I found this campground on Google, and added to Dyrt. It's in a small town called Fosston.

Nothing special about this, it's not a place to stay for multiple nights but it's great for an overnight.

There is a self-check-in,…

We stayed here a couple of nights.  The camp office was nice.  Not much for staple grocery items if you needed a few things.  Bathrooms were well maintained.

The sites were weedy and very close together.  The pool was fine but mini golf course was a disaster, total disrepair.

Worth checking out; bring bug spray

Nice little campgrounds. Our favorite part was checking out the Old Mill & settler’s cabin. Unfortunately, the bridge & swimming pond were closed. Electric & water hook ups on the inner loop. LOTS of mosquitos when we visited - bring bug spray & extra bug spray! Great little self…

No electricity, restrooms are very basic. Camping has limited capacity but they do keep them very clean.

Stumphges Rapids Landing (along witwith a Ranger Review of Eclipse Sunwear)

Campground Review: The Stumphges Rapids Canoe Landing is a stop on the Mississippi Headwaters Water Trail. It has a primitive dispersed campsite that lies with the river buffer zone that is part of the Mississippi Headwaters State Forest, but the DNR is no longer maintaining it as a full scale…

Fun Family Campground

We stayed for the weekend at Fox Lake and had a great time. This is a very family friendly campground with a lot of entertainment options. The volleyball and basketball courts are nice and well maintained. The park was fun for the kids and the beach was very nice! The seasonal campers are adjacent…

Nice Facilities

We spent a lot of time camping without facilities in dispersed campsites, so the Bemidji KOA was a great break from the primitive monotony. We only stayed one night (we were on a fast paced road trip) but would definitely stay again. Definitely more expensive than free, but you get what you pay…

Small Cabin

  • Very small family run resort made up of 3 cabins and ~10 seasonal campsites.
  • The campground is directly on Balm lake. There are beautiful views of the lake from the dock. This makes a great place to watch sunrises and sets. There are canoes, paddle boats, and kayaks for guests to use.
