The campground is considered "primitive," (not dispersed) and is designed to furnish only the camper's basic needs. The campsites consist of a cleared area, fire ring, and table. Also, vault toilets, garbage cans, and drinking water are available.
All sites are on a first-come, first-served basis for a fee.
Highlights: This state forest campground is nestled under a healthy stand of red pines on the lake's western shore. All the sites are laid out along a long, narrow loop that extends toward the peninsula's point. Sites are spread apart nicely to allow for privacy, and even those away from the lake are an easy walk across the loop to the swimming beach.

Individual campsites are $17 per night. No reservations required or available. Equestrian campsites are $22 per night. No reservations required or available. Group campsites are $50 per night. Call the state forest contact for more information.
