Jacobson County Campground

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Riverside camping along the Mississippi River draws anglers and paddlers to Jacobson County Campground, a county-managed site open May through October near Warba, Minnesota. Sites sit directly on the river, and reviewers note the proximity to water is close enough to hear a spring-fed water source from camp. Bug spray is essential here, particularly in warmer months. Hay Lake Campground and Day-Use Area sits a few miles southeast for campers weighing options in the area. Amenities are basic: drinking water, vault toilets, and a recycling station and dumpster on-site. Bring insect repellent regardless of the season.

Great little spot

We rode ATV to this site and it empty. Right on the river and we needed bug spray for sure. There is a nice spring fed water hose that was close enough to hear while falling a sleep. It’s a bit out there from the ATV trails so we won’t be stopping again but it worked well for us.

Overall, a quiet and good campground.

Some sites that are closest to the river are close together but okay view. Vaulted toilet and recycling/dumpster close proximity.
