Great family campground

Loved this family campground! Bathrooms are super nice and are heated. Sites a a nice distance apart, lots of trees. Nice playground with swings, close to a larger park near the lake. Only reason we gave it 4 is because, as another reviewer pointed out, many of the sites are facing the wrong way…including ours. Not that big of a deal for weekend trips. Also wish it had some trails through the woods. We had site 18 which was way in the back, nice and private.

1/3 of sites are backwards

Pretty disappointed to arrive and be in a backwards site. This is a back-in only site and yet the site is backwards. The a firepit is on the backend of the camper instead of the front. When I spoke to the front desk he confirmed that 1/3 of their sites are setup backwards and they hope to eventually move the sites around but for now, you "camp" on the wrong side of your camper

Day trip spring

Went out in spring time and was so shocked to see such a nice park in such an off beaten area. We stumbled upon this place just taking back roads and driving around. Nice beach area and Great picnic area!!! Big playground picnic tables scattered everywhere. There was even a small trail off to the side with ( time of year) had a small creek running through it. Very nice!
