Great campground

Spacious, beautiful overlook of Lake superior. The wind off the lake is chilly so bring layers. Firewood is $7, Firestarter are $5. Ppl very friendly and after 10 pm it is quiet. 10/10 would come again

Great Views and Kid friendly

Burlington Bay Campground was clean. The shower house by the playground was clean and new. The playground seemed fairly new and the kids loved playing on it. Walking on the beach lead to a nice City trail. The kids loved climbing all over the rock formations and finding new rocks.

The sites…

Ely, Mn

We stayed here last June with our large family. My bf and I stayed 2 nights in a cabin and tent camped 2 nights on a camp site. This area has great access to many lakes including the BWCA along with being close to Ely for anything you may have forgotten. Silver Rapids Lodge itself has a…

North Shore Lake Superior

Any time on the North Shore is a great time! A lot to do and see. Clean restrooms and showers. The sites are a little close and not much privacy, but the view is awesome.

Back in the beautiful woods

We were planning to stay at Tettegouche State Park, but completely booked. After a bit of poking around the area we came across Finland State Campground. What a find!! Almost all of the sites are secluded. All are back in the woods, yet easily accessed. Our 32' 5er an easy fit. There are no…

Right on Lake Superior

The area is beautiful with a lot to see and do. The camp is clean and for very full this time of year with many campers enjoying the color change on the north shore. Would like a little more forest around me but for a convenient spot I would stay here again in the future. Very clean. As far as…

Campground by the River

The campgrounds on the coast were completely booked and I needed a campground for a night with my RV. There was some empty spots, mostly tent campers, a couple of other RVs. I was at spot #18. There are only a couple of sites on the river, most of them are in the forest. It was nice for a night…

Just Right

Smaller campground located in two harbors.  Super nice personnel. Clean. Gravel sites with grass. The lake is right there. It shows $10 fee on the dyrt but it’s $46 including tax for an RV with the electric and water no sewer.

6/25-6/26/20. Site 409

This was our first trip to Lake Vermillion-Soudan and we spent one night here. You can get wood as you enter, it’s in a little shed to pick your own and $6 a bundle. Our site was spacious and grassy, though we could see our neighbors, so it wasn’t the most private. We drove…

Camper Central

Beautiful state park with a funky layout. Campsites are very pretty but sites are mostly gravel not ideal for tents more aimed at the rvs. 100-200 campsites seem better for tents over 300 sites. 100-200 have some grassy tent pads with a cool layout. Check it out!

Beautiful views

Very quiet area, and our site was overlooking the water, which offered an amazing view. Will definitely be returning here again.

Not Private, but beautiful setting

The campground is located in a very nice small town and the water sites are amazing for sunrise. The campground has all the amenities you need; Full hookups, water, dump station, fire rings, and picnic tables. Tent sites were the most numerous, but there were several RVs. We saw everything from big…
