Clean site, great staff, nice hookups

The sites are well maintained. The staff is very kind and accommodating. There are a few restaurants around that deliver. Great spot.

Family fun!!

We introduced our youngest to camping at this campground. It’s a crazy story. In summary you couldn’t ask for a better first time family campground as far as my sons first camping experience lol well I’m surprised he doesn’t deeply hate camping. Everything that could of went wrong did including…

Great little campground!!

My husband and I picked this spot to try out our new camper (and puppy) for camping and it’s been a lovely place to stay. It’s a normal KOA setup but the staff is wonderfully sweet and the amenities are clean and reliable. Close to lots of state parks and hiking opportunities.

Loved the historic trails

We stayed here one night and part of the next day. We camped in the older Ochegie campground (site #1) near the historic native village site and trail. There were few people camping so it was quiet. We called the office as no one had been staffing it when we arrived. The ranger was very nice and…

Camper Cabin at Mille Lacs Kathio State Park

Perfect little camper cabin and site. Fabulous park staff that even turned the heater on for us before we arrived. The cabin has electricity, heat, no plumbing. No cooking inside, wonderful fire ring for cooking, which we used at night.

BP11 with kiddos

Site was great. Good shade cover, room for 4 hammocks and a small tent. Closer to other sites than I was hoping but overall a great oasis less than an hour from Minneapolis.

First Time

It was a last minute booking over 4th of July. This was our first camping trip in our 30' camper, in a state park Campground. Not alot of room to maneuver 5th wheel around, spote are skinny, close together, not much shade. Showers are push button and lasted 5 seconds, NOT IMPRESSED!!

Peaceful & big lot

We went on a Monday so there was Just a few others. It was very peaceful. The lot we picked was big and on a hill. It was very clean and well maintained. We picked this spot as we had dogs with and liked that there was a row of trees where we could tie them away from the fire . Would be a GREAT…

Family Oriented Campground

This a nice family campground. It has a 9 hole mini golf, shuffleboard, salt water pool, and a lobby/gift shop. They also offer a nice seating area for those hot or raining days with free arcade. Verizon cell coverage is good here and OTA TV has a few channels. Staff here is very nice and always…

Nice clean and quiet

We had site 4, lake side access. The site was amazing, with a dock to the lake. Has a picnic table with a lean to shelter, and a fire ring. Was quiet and peaceful, we very much enjoyed our stay, and will be back. Most of the lake side sites were pretty uneven, bring plenty of leveling blocks. That…

Don’t camp by bathroom

We had 44E major mistake. There was way too much traffic and apparently it was the kids hang out spot. It would’ve been ok if we had kids under 12 with us but we didn’t. NO hot water off and on. Drive to a gas station was 6 miles. Firewood was always available but a 3 mile drive from campsite.…

Great for families

Nice campground for a family experience. Camping with two toddlers can be a lot, it helps when there are two nice playgrounds here, a slide, water trampoline, nice beach, and nice, clean bathrooms. The sites aren't very private, but some are right on the lake with a beautiful view. Would recommend

Algorithms don't make for good customer service!

I made a reservation over 3 months before my stay. When I arrived, I was given a site that backed up to a very busy road. There was also no shade on the site and I was 3 feet or less from my neighbor. Many of the reviews mentioned nice shade trees but not all sites have them. When I asked the owner…
