We rented kayaks and went up river, then floated to our camp site. Half way we ran out of beer - AND THEY BROUGHT US SOME!!! Love, love, love this place! Will be coming every chance I get!
A well maintained city campground with vault toilets and convenient nearby dump station just outside the park. Night time train traffic may be a negative for light sleepers.
Cheap full hookup when passing through.

Full hook ups including sewer connection. We were mostly there to sleep & ran an air purifier that proved white noise. Right on the freeway a lot of traffic noise.

Beautiful spot. Go see Devils Gultch! There was a really nice dump station outside of the park near entrance to Devil’s Gultch.
Really great state park not too far from lake lakota with great playgrounds. Great woods woth trails
Good clean campground with some trails to hike.
This is a pretty little campground next to a river. Tent sites have a loop in the back and rv sites are along the road. This campground is never full so if you need a spot for a night, this would be a good one to check. Lots of green grass and a nice playground. Many people do some fishing here too.

There isn’t a lot to choose from around the Sioux Falls area. There are plenty of trails and clean restrooms to use. Overall we really like this location. Some of the sites are pretty close together though.
Small town. Mill and farm land
