Campground is very nice, with shade and open areas. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Sites are well maintained as are the showers and restrooms. Host stated that the wifi was weak but since there were not a lot of campers we should be alright. We were unable to even get a signal! This is a nice…
This campground has a upper and lower loop for camping. The lower is on the lake and the upper is more in the trees. The lower has a pretty view and is right on the lake but the sites are pretty close together. There seems to be a little more space in the upper loop but there is no view of the lake…
We stopped here for one night. But the campground was nice and the staff was very friendly.
Fun spot not far from the Twin Cities. Campsites are nicely spaced and pretty secluded. Nice trails, beach, and beach rentals.
Amazing splash pad with lots of fixtures! And there’s a super fancy ninja obstacle course that has a built in timer. Also a nice swimming beach and playground.
Site was great. Good shade cover, room for 4 hammocks and a small tent. Closer to other sites than I was hoping but overall a great oasis less than an hour from Minneapolis.
This a nice family campground. It has a 9 hole mini golf, shuffleboard, salt water pool, and a lobby/gift shop. They also offer a nice seating area for those hot or raining days with free arcade. Verizon cell coverage is good here and OTA TV has a few channels. Staff here is very nice and always…
Good overnight stay. We could not log in to WiFi or access Tv and for us that wasn’t a big issue. But the office did say when the park is full that can sometimes be an issue for WiFi. The site was level and easy to get into to.
Outstanding! Not hesitate, this place is fabulous. The bathrooms/showers are clean. The sites are huge. The price cannot be beat for camping.
I came the end of June 2021. It was extremely low cost to camp, however you need to pay the $7 entry fee per day as well (yearly pass is $35). There are showers and bathrooms available. Camp site 16 was amongst trees and added privacy and shade, however this is a busy campground so expect people…
Great family campground. Lots of shade cover. Oak ridge is perfect for larger rigs (<35 feet - anything bigger there are only 2 spots that will fit) (no electric or water). Clean vault toilets. Lots for kids to do. Canoeing, fishing, paddle boards. Great hiking trails. Loop for kids to bike on…

Awesome river sites, friendly staff, 15 minutes to grocery store. Spacious and spread out , with sun and shade. Great atmosphere!
Sites are close together compared to some other Minnesota state parks. Lots of trees. Bathroom is older but decent. Hiking trails ok nothing special.
We love camping here, reservations are easy, pet friendly, quiet area to relax!
Busy place in the heart of town. Lake, splash pad, park all right there
