Refreshing lake views

The beach is lovely with a magnificent lake view. There's a light house at one end along with some large rocks that are apart of the Canadian shield.

Great Northwoods Park

This park is a quiet oasis in northern MN. The campground was clean and pretty empty. Heard wolves!!!

Perfect in type Fall

This little campground is fantastic. It is non-electric with a narrow entrance so only cars and pickup trucks can access it. Beautifully tucked in the trees it is great on a crisp fall morning. Level ground for a tent, ample trees for hammocks, and Lake of the Woods can be heard all night.

Canoe-in shoe-in

How would you like to camp on your own private island? Reserve the single canoe-in site and make your dreams come true! We had such an excellent time hanging out on our little island and using it as a home base for combined canoeing and hiking day trips. You should be comfortable in a canoe before…

Walk-in bliss

The walk-in sites here are so good I almost don't want to spill the secret. There's just two sites, far from the main campsite and everything else, and spaced decently far apart from each other. They're nestled in quiet pine groves on a ridge overlooking the lake. The lake is electric motors only,…

Great spot for serious fishermen

This is a combo campground and city park, a joint effort of the Minnesota Dept of Natural Resources and the city of Baudette. While serving the recreational needs of townsfolk, it also provides great access to the famous Rainy River and a good place for out of town fishermen to stay. The campgound…

Nice Trails

Stayed here a couple times to do the Lake Bronson Adventure Race. Nice, quiet, paved trail, and always see deer up close there!

Very nice city owned RV park

Legion Park is a city operated RV park in Greenbush, Minnesota. Very nice grounds with grass sites and many large oaks trees around each site. There only ten sites with water and 30 amp power. Sites are $15.00 per night. No sewer hook up but there is a free dump station on site. The grounds are well…

Bare Bones

This little campground is here as overflow for the nearby resort. It is located near the water, oak harbor golf course and the little town of Baudette. Its right off of highway 72 so it is very convenient.

Its also close enough to several waterways from Wheelers Point and Baudette border waterway…

Close to the Marina

The campground itself is the biggest of all of them in Zippel bay state park. It is also the closest to the marina and this is probably why it was full midweek. Couple families were occupying a couple of sites so it was a bit noisy but I don’t blame the campground for that. There was no host to…

Simple and level sites.

This campground is in the middle of the park. About a 10 min drive from the entrance. Nice level sites and they offer some privacy from your neighbors. Bugs were more noticeable here for some reason, but the birds never stopped singing so that was nice to hear.

Pretty simple set up with some…

Lots of variety and a boating destination

This state park is really nicely located for those that wanna get away to the north. Northern Minnesota has a lot to offer for wildlife and fishing. Zipper bay is pretty easy to get too and has a lot do from hikes, canoeing, kayaking, boating and fishing. You can easily get to garden island by boat…

Rustic camping for sure!

This little campground is one of four in the area. It is rustic for sure. Sites are a bit closer together than most and not overly private. At the end of the loop is the trash/recycle and the vault toilets. The reason for camping here is to be close to the beach. Most of the sites back into the…

Nice spot in a little town.

If you are looking for a place to stay and have the ability to camp here I’d suggest it. Nice little town but not really a destination. Campsites 1-10 are primitive and back up to a creek that im sure is heavily used on hot days. 11-20 are water and electric that has some water view.

The park is…
