Lots of nice trails to walk. Small zoo that is well kept. Had a nice shady site.
Nice campground, sites are nice size and well shaded. Beach and playground are nice. Wasn’t expecting to have water hookup, but we did!
Camped here for a long weekend with friends. The camp is well kept and right on the river. Plenty of well developed trees and you are within city limits for activities with the family. We enjoyed time fishing and paddle boating on the nearby waterways
We had a great site with plenty of room for my large family. The campground was clean and nice with plenty of area for the kids to explore. The strong wind off the lake made fishing from shore nearly impossible. Only one dock was in the water, but the kids loved the beach.
Swimming was great! Cute little store by the beach. Sites we’re pretty close together but it was still an enjoyable time!
We stayed here for an over night, the sand bottom pool wasn’t opened but we’ve used it on past visits and always enjoyed it. Sites are well maintained and the staff is friendly. We didn’t use the facilities so I can’t comment on there condition.
We thoroughly enjoyed the hiking trails here. Plenty of space to socially distance. Equestrian camping area is nice and plenty of horse trails too. The biggest hit for me was the newly remodeled beach area on Lake Andrew. Plenty of space and a nice “fishing” pier to hang out at. They rent kayaks there too!!
The grounds are very well kept. Everyone there is very friendly. Even the caretakers drive around and talk to people, deliver wood to your campsite, etc. They have a shelter you can rent for parties, playground for kids, volleyball, etc. Swimming is just a little walk away. We enjoy walking the trail. It's very quiet, but yet everyone seems to have a great time playing lawn games, chit chatting, eating, etc. We just bought our camper last year and we've stayed there at least 5 or 6 times.
