Great park! More long term tenants than over nighters. But still a good park. Quiet and kid friendly. The new owners are working on improving the appearance, as the previous ones left a bit to be desired.
We had a really nice relaxing stay at Stephen F Austin State Park near San Filepe, Texas. Great little state park easily accessed from I-10. The 38 RV sites are all asphalt pad pull throughs with 30/15 amp electric, water and sewer complete with concrete pad for table, fire pit, lantern and all…

I have stayed here for work a total of 8 nights in the last few months. Pros: Clean and well maintained, They are a pool and a hot tub, super easy on and off the freeway, lots of trees, Great people! Cons: pay before you arrive and charge extra for using a credit card and a bit noisy if you are on…

Great RV Resort on the lake with a beach. The roads could use a lot of love and the activity center could use a few indoor games especially since it rains a lot during hurricane season. Other than that we really enjoyed our stays here this summer.

This was one of the priciest camp grounds we've gone to on our US RV tour (~$60) but it certainly has good reasons to charge a bit more! Very safe gated community, quiet, staff was friendly and the camp site has many amenities in case you're staying longer like a gym and a pool! Everything is very…
All of the sites at Stephen F. Austin were pull through and full hookup which was really nice. Our first night there we went in to town to explore and hit up the local grocery store. We loved the downtown area. More importantly, the campsites were hosts to a lovely firefly display each evening! …

Overnight stay. Heavily wooded area. Lots of wildlife (deer hanging out in neighboring campsite). Grass was overgrown on site. Firewood we bought wouldn’t burn. Very buggy (swarming at your face). Had to drive to the shower house. There seemed to be a lot to see at this park and I’m sure it is…
Lots to do, hiking, biking, wildlife viewing. Great campground.

A bit on the pricier side, but it is very well managed and well kept. Pool is clean, bathrooms are clean, laundry room clean and looked like all the machines worked. Level concrete pads. Overall we were pleased with our time here.
I stayed here for several months. Once your inside the gates, the park was clean and staff was friendly. I had no problems at the park. Close to the Texas Medical Center. The area around the park is a bit rough.
Nice level concrete pads. Very tightly packed together. Had a pool and clubhouse. Very nice clean bath/shower rooms and laundry facilities. Only real problem was the people park on the main thruway making getting in and out with the trailer difficult. We had to wake a guy up to move his truck to…
We all had a blast.

I love this park it's a great place to take your family my granddaughter loves to walk the trails, very clean
I like state parks and this is a good example why. The sites are well spaced, well maintained and relatively inexpensive. About $20. You can reserve online and the web site has photos of the site so you know it works for you.
Site have electric and water and the dump station is at the entrance of…
This park is tucked away from the main highway and roads but is close enough to restaurants and other amenities. Folks are friendly and it is a quiet atmosphere. All the spots are pull throughs. This looks to be an older park so the widths are a bit smaller but manageable but the price makes up for…
