Simple Campground

The FamCamp is small and simple but affordable place to stay while you’re in town. Although the sites are paved, there is mud everywhere during rainfall. Only one side has shade.

All the things, but kind of sad

Alamo Fiesta RV Resort has all the things you might be looking for for an overnight stop over. There is a pool, a store, laundry, etc. The staff are friendly and helpful. A large percentage of the trailer spots seem to be occupied by long-term residents, who are friendly enough, but I felt…

Quiet, clean, and convenient

Campground is a great place to stay to explore Borden, The Hill Country and San Antonio. Super quiet, many long term residents. Pool looks extremely clean.

Note.. as of 3/18/21 construction is still happening. Front office will give you the best way to enter park.

Awesome family vacation spot!

Stayed in a cabin at the resort a few years back it was awesome. Cabin had a patio, picnic table outside, and bar b q pit for outdoor cooking. Also there’s a small vintage town to explore with a ice cream shop! The kids had a blast. We rented a couple of kayaks and floated the river. There’s also a…

Family fun state park

This is a great park for families. There is all kinds of activities like biking, hiking, swimming, fishing, a playground, kayak/paddle board rentals, etc. The campground is small for RVs, only about 19 sites and there’s a few with full sewer hookups, the rest with water/electric. The sites on the…

The river makes this park!

Bottom line, beautiful park. Good facilities, nice camp store, the River is RIGHT THERE. I would give this place 5 stars except due to the location next to the river, the country road runs right next to the camp grounds. Lots of noisy motorcycle traffic all night.

Beautiful campground along the river

Very nice staff. Beautiful tree lined park. Lots of shade, sun and water. Very good store on premises. Only drawback is the park is long and narrow, the access road is right beside the camp sights. Lots of motorcycle traffic at all hours.

June Sunday Getaway

3 friends got away for the day. Small hike down to the river with a cooler of beer. Only a few other throughout the morning but started to get packed after 1pm. Water was clear and cool. Will definitely be back.
