Has improved a lot!

This lake has came a long ways from how it use to be. It is a pretty good lake now, the front camp grounds are really nice and the others on the north side of the lake are definitely better than the ones on the south side but they are still nice. It is a more natural lake and fees are not terrible.…

overnight stay

stayed for one night during a road trip with a friend. We're both females and felt safe. Tent sites were pretty big and flat. We didn't go in the lake, the water was pretty stagnant and didn't feel refreshing. The bathrooms were okay, I didn't take a shower, but they seemed clean. Sunset by the…

Nice sites, not so nice facilities

The night we spent here, we were the only ones in that whole section of the campground, so we had the whole place to ourselves.  The campsite was nice -- next to the lake, spacious, and clean.  The only toilet was infested with wasps, so we weren't able to use it.  But the night skies were gorgeous.

Relaxing lake!

Peaceful and quiet lake. We stayed mid week and our sons had a blast kayaking. The only boat traffic were those fishing, and they didn't seem to mind our sons rowing. Park has lots of places for walking. We stayed in a primitive site near the water. Showers are horribly cold, but available. …

Great pit stop

The park staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was closed while we were there which would've made the stay better. The time of year we stopped here there was very little open. The camp itself was clean and the hooks ups were pretty easy. However, the sand volley ball court was overgrown. …

Nice place

I enjoyed my stay.  I was able to get in even though I didn't make a reservation.  I might add that most gov run camps now require online booking and payment.  Some of the sites are small and would be hard to get a larger RV into so you might want to call the keepers and ask about that.  Nice…

Keystone State Park

Only Green Country loop was open when we started out, but others opened once we got there. Nice level sites, concrete pad with full hook up.  Good ATT & Verizon service. Did not try OTA TV. Pretty convient to 44 which made for a great night over. Might return for a lnonger stay.

Good Port in a Storm

During the extreme winter weather in Oklahoma in February 2021, I ducked into the KOA Lake Eufaula to wait out the storm. While the office was closed, Lindsay was available by phone to answer all my questions and James, a resident caretaker was also on hand.  The campground offers all expected…

Fun winter camping

A nice state park with lots of services. A full marina, a little restaurant on the dock. Full hook up camping is available throughout the year. Close to a small town with shopping, fuel, and a couple great restaurants.

Corona Free Camping

So sick of just sitting at home. Wait a minute .... we have a portable home. We have probably camped around 8 times since March. I we can do distance or virtual learning from any place that we can use the hot spot on our phones. Love the camping hate the “Rona”. Still haven’t caught any fish. Guess…

Unhelpful, must have a reservation

Be aware, you will not be allowed into the park without a prior reservation. My husband and I came late into the area and needed a place to sleep. The website did not say that reservations were REQUIRED, just that they were available. The attendant would not let me make a quick reservation on my…

Fall break

October 7-9 we stayed in Dogwood campground spot number 81. We had a wonderful time and the weather was simply great. Colors were starting to change. Very clean campground and restrooms were very well maintained.

Very quaint and quiet area

Bathroom is passable, nothing fancy. Dock could use some tending to. Overall, decent.

You can not camp here

You can not camp at the dam. You can camp at the Bluff down the road. If you do camp at the bluff, I would for sure visit the damn or even go for a day adventure. Getting to it is sketchy, the road turns to dirt and there are areas that people unfortunately dump trash but once you get to the dam…
