Very crowded

Not to bad of a campsite. Bathrooms are atrocious. It’s very crowded. Your right next to everyone but it’s kinda expected I guess. Very large park

Great simple campground

Did some car winter camping and enjoyed it! No one else at the tent camping sites. Had a McLoud policeman check our permit in the morning.

Weird

Really nice campground, but the campers themselves gave a very strange vibe. In the area where there is tent camping there appeared to be people who were possibly living there full time. One car was broken down and crashed, another had tickets, and one camper had a cot, lots of stuff strewn about, no tent, and no car. One car was full to the brim with stuff. Honestly, we didn’t even end up staying here because we got such weird vibes.

Great camping experience.

The whole place was well kept, clean, and inviting. We only stayed one night for my boys first camping trip, but it delivered. Campsite had water access and basic needs (table, fire pit, and a parking spot). Quiet at night, patrolled regularly. Fun, nice, trip.

Nice area. Clean and friendly.

Many areas to approach lake. Sure there is a beach, multiple boat loading ramps and day use picnic areas close to the water, and in shade but if you need a quiet place to get in the water and relax, or visit quietly with friends but there are many trails that lead to water access. Clean restrooms, organized trash accumulation sites and between the shade, cool water and constant breeze this area in McCloud Okla is my go to weekend lake. (Just out of OKC). No quick runs to stores or cafe's, but there is a small town groceries store, fuel station and even a drive thru window.

Big ole brown lake

This is a large paved parking lot overlooking a large lake. It is somewhat of a popular spot (three other people the night i stayed) and some activity throughout the night. There are two pit toilets you can use at your own risk.
