Hiking trails: The Beavers Bend State Park Campground has numerous maintained paths for hikers of all abilities. "We enjoyed the hiking in this park. Lots of great cleared trails. Often times I was the only hiker. A real gem is the COE access road that runs along the river past the spillway," reports one Acorn Campground visitor.

Tips from RVers
Site dimensions: Check pad lengths before booking, especially for larger rigs. "The campground is a little tight in a few spots pulling a so camper, so be mindful of your turns. 30/50 Amp sites, sites are roomy good spacing," advises an Armadillo Circle camper.
Premium site advantages: Upgraded camping areas offer better amenities. "Stayed at the Buckeye Camp and couldn't believe how incredible it was. The camp is listed as a 'Premium Modern' because it was just recently upgraded with new pad sites, concrete tables, fire rings and new power poles offering 30/50amp along with upgraded sewer," explains a visitor to Armadillo Circle.
Highway noise consideration: Some rv parks near Broken Bow have road noise. "Easy access off the Highway. Nice level lots with plenty of room behind to set up tables and games. Highway noise is a little loud but it does die down at night so no problem sleeping," reports a Creekside RV Park camper.
