Great place but don’t show up and expect to camp. All camping is by prepaid reservations only by calling city hall 918 623 1050. This is the only way you can camp here per new policy and camping must be prepaid when reservations are made.
Not as nice as other parks along our i40 route from CA to GA, but hospitality was great and appreciated the kindness of the folks who manage this property. Little sketchy of the red/brown lake water to swim in and the bugs are massive compared to the desert. Lol but we loved the lush forests,…
We stayed at site 31. It was on the side with the bluffs. Beautiful sunset overlooking the lake. Trees separated us from the next campsites. It's very primitive so bring plenty of water.

Very close to the highway but in nature on a pond in a lush green area.
Owners were very communicative, coinscientious, and helpful.
It appears there may be a few long term renters on the property.
This was good for a one-2 night stay.
This RV park is a no frills park located in Okemah, Oklahoma. It was 5 minurtes from I-40 in a very green setting.
The operators were kind and helpful. Theyn kept in touch with us for our ETA to make sure we could find the spot.
Very inexpensive for a 1 night stop on our way cross the…
This park was a last minute choice. Other site had reviews that it was quiet and free. We rented towards the back of the park for free. However, this site is far from quiet. Aside from birds and bugs (which is nature so you can’t really complain about that), it is close to the highway. After…
We stayed the weekend and had a great time, there was plenty of things for the kids to do and enough space at our campsite that we didn’t feel crowded in.
Peaceful and quiet lake. We stayed mid week and our sons had a blast kayaking. The only boat traffic were those fishing, and they didn't seem to mind our sons rowing. Park has lots of places for walking. We stayed in a primitive site near the water. Showers are horribly cold, but available. …
Stayed here for two nights it was great fishing it was clean the only downfall was they were remodel like redoing the showers.
The north and south sides of the lake have always been a great place for anything from adventure to relaxation, grilling, boating, water skiing, fishing, swimming, hiking/riding trails and quaint enough for a good book or catching up on some studying...
Its Soo beautiful, quiet and relaxing here, great place for the family as well.
We stayed in our 39’ trailer for AKC National Agility Championship. Very convenient to fairgrounds events. Private bathrooms and showers were clean with code entry. Laundromat was functional and centrally located. Space 719 was just long enough for trailer but we were allowed to park our truck in…
I enjoyed my stay. I was able to get in even though I didn't make a reservation. I might add that most gov run camps now require online booking and payment. Some of the sites are small and would be hard to get a larger RV into so you might want to call the keepers and ask about that. Nice…
Did a one night camping with the family over Easter weekend. This is one of our favorite camping sites. Super clean (both grounds and bathrooms), great playground for kids, not super crowded.
Only Green Country loop was open when we started out, but others opened once we got there. Nice level sites, concrete pad with full hook up. Good ATT & Verizon service. Did not try OTA TV. Pretty convient to 44 which made for a great night over. Might return for a lnonger stay.
