We just stayed for one night, it was super quiet and calm. The campsites were minimal but had lots of space and were right on the lake. We had a beautiful sunset too
We couldn’t find a place to pay… but we will check in the morning
Nice quiet, pay as you go
Lots of shade, somewhat close together but it's first come, pay as you go with water and electric.
Beautiful but crowded, place where a lot of young people like to party
Stayed here a lot have an annual membership

Recently stayed at Coon Creek Cove. It is fairly nice. They recently mowed and there was clumpy grass all over the place which made the bugs bad. The campground itself is quiet even though it was full. We used the shower house since they don’t have full sewer hook up. It was kept clean and you…
Central State Park is a clean, well maintained campground. We arrived late, so we had to self check-in. The spots are well spaced, giving campers a nice amount of privacy. There are full, partial and primitive spots available. All are nicely wooded and have public bathrooms nearby. All-in-all, a…
I'm interested in wildlife and camping and feel like this state will be great
Once you get to the campground, it is peaceful with no traffic noise, light pollution or other distractions. The view of the lake is fantastic and it’s easy to relax here. The space between campsites is significantly less than I would prefer but manageable. The maneuvering space needed to back a…
The city of Edmond operates several campgrounds/loops on the lake and this is my favorite. Sites are level and clean. They are also well treed and spaced - some with excellent shade.
Edmond shipping is only 5 minutes away, including a Walmart, Chick Fil A and many other dining options.

Just a handful of primitive spots. All seem level and all back up to the lake. There are some trees, but not much shade because they aren’t tall.
Each site has a table, fire ring and its own trash can.
Looks like you can beach your boat at your site. The water level was low when we were there…

Beautiful park surrounded by magnificent cedar trees and a fishing pond. Showers and laundry are well kept. They have a cute little General Store with vending and items to buy. Owner is so friendly and Helpful.
I was practically surrounded by water. Deer, beavers, armadillo, birds! There are many different campground areas, I stayed in Pine Grove. Bathrooms were old but not too dirty. They were heated very well. Several dump stations. Friendly staff.
We decided to give this place a try and are so glqd we did! It's a nice little campground with maybe 10 pull-through spots long enough to accommodate most, if not all. Full hookups including electric, water, and sewer available. The spots are spaced close together with about a 4 ft median of grass…

Pretty empty for a Friday but it’s late in the season. This location allows you to pull straight into the tent spots. Not like others where you park and pack in so great for car camping. Online reservations are easy. No one around to check in when I arrived and no camp host present but no big deal.…
