Nice campground with beautiful view of the lake. Quiet neighbors. The only thing is that it’s close to a major road so there is a lot of traffic noise. It’s also close enough to SpaceX to hear rocket testing. I thought we were getting nuked until I did some research and found out what the noise…
Great campsite and volunteer hosts.
Loved sunsets and beach area. Small campground with lots of trees. Some rough sites - but works great.

Nice place. Well kept. Staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcomed to be here. Kelly at office was great! The sites are a bit tight for a big rig and not much space as other sate parks but worked well for an overnight stay.
Wonderful views of the lake.. Pretty level and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
This is a new campground and very nice. All sites are pull thru (approx 80’) with a lot of space between spaces. Grass is about 80% in for the pups. They have cabins, kids pool, adult only pool, large play ground and a club house. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Easy access…
One of the best parks on Lake Whitney.
Of course as the name suggests, a great way to learn about prehistoric creatures and a chance to see their footprints, it has an amazing river access to swim or relax during the day! The water is clean and not too deep, but gets deeper near the blue hole to swim.

Love it all around, it's beautiful, great fishing, camping, nice people, all around a great place. Liberty Hill is the only park we will go to.

First the bad. The restrooms/shower's are not on the priority list, not cleaned regularly and to think we're dealing with COVID. Privacy curtains at the showers were missing. The soap holder in the shower was dirty on Tuesday 7/26/'21when we arrived and was still dirty when we left that Friday…
We stopped here for the night on our way West. The RV park is gated and you need an access code to get in. Stopped at the gate and called to get the code. We were told to take any spot we wanted except for 25 and 26. Found a great spot under a huge covered shelter which was great for shade on this…

Live Oak Ridge COE Campground is excellently maintain and is a very low-key, restful place to land. Large sites with ample vehicle parking that offer substantial distance from the neighboring sites give room to bring multiple vehicles or a boat along with the RV. The sites are well maintained by…

Lots of clean campsites with improved fire rings and concrete tables. There are full RV hookups and covered awnings at sites. There are plenty of showers, both pit and modern toilets, shared bathrooms, and private bathrooms. There are everal Beach areas with sand and awnings, covered playgrounds,…
Spacious walk-out site. Real hot in July (as expected for Texas). Fire ring and lantern like available. Overall lovely site at a great park.

This is a great campsite!! You only have one neighbor but they are across a small parking lot. You have access to a fishing dock and an entrance to Bosque Trail. The only negatives are the bathrooms are a 5 min drive away and the campsite ground was very rocky so make sure you have a good air…
