South Central Texas is a prime area of the state to explore. Known far and wide as the Hill Country, it is so named for its rolling hills and woodlands. Famous for its excellent wineries, historic small towns and natural beauty, the Hill Country also boasts a unique offering for campers known as Enchanted Rock State Park. 


Enchanted Rock is a large pink granite dome that rises 425 feet above the surrounding terrain and is the largest granite monadock in the United States. Indians, Spaniards and early settlers all had stories of magical, spiritual or unexplained happenings around the rock which gave the feature its name. These days, one of the most intriguing sights is at night, after a rain. The wet dome seems to glitter in the moonlight and while regarded as a simple play of light on the granite, the effect adds to both the mystery and enchantment of the area. 


Another intriguing site in the Hill Country is Jacob’s Well, a short 78 miles southeast from Enchanted Rock State Park. Fed by a natural artesian spring, Jacob’s Well consists of a large pool connected to a vast underground cavern system that sprawls more than 4300 feet. The spring is connected to the Trinity Aquifer and emits thousands of gallons of water each day where visitors can enjoy the cool 68 degree water. Jacob’s Well is a popular and welcome retreat from the famous Texas heat!

Check In/Out: Check in time is 3pm for Cabins & Tiny Homes and 1pm for RV Sites & Primitive Camping Sites. Arriving guests are welcome to arrive as early at 12pm on arrival date to begin use of campground facilities (including river access). However, please bear in mind that your accommodation may not be available/accessible for check in and use until designated check in time. Early arrivals must park in the overflow parking area (near the barn).



Check out time is 10am for all accommodations. However, after checking out, departing guests are welcome to continue their use of campground facilities (including river access) until 2pm of the departing day at no additional costs. Departing guests (after checking out and vacating accommodation at 10am) must park in the overflow parking lot (near the barn) to continue use of campground facilities. Please be sure to inform the office of your intention to stay beyond accommodation check out time.



We cannot guarantee the same cabin/site if you choose to extend your stay, but we'll darn sure try our best to make it happen Please check with the office as soon as you can to see about possible extensions.

Our campsite is only minutes from downtown of Temple, TX where you can find some great restaurants, shops, stores. The campsite itself is on our beautiful property elevated and secluded. Come enjoy the outside, relax, and explore the surrounding area!

The Space:
Secluded campsite only 40 minutes South of Waco, TX and 75 miles North of Austin, TX!

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! 

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. 

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. 

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

What you should bring:
-S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat
-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling 
-Bedding and pillows
-Firewood for the campfire

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. 

If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper___s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Your CampKeeper is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable). Sitting just above paradise manor overlooking Lake Travis and the Texas Hill Country, On The Rocks Glamping Resort is our vision of the perfect vacation destination. It doesn't get much better than this. This luxury tent, with your own private deck and hot tub, features accommodations that rival most 5 star hotels. This is the perfect couples get away with amazing views by day and star lit sky at night.

The property features 4 luxury tents each with their own private deck and courtyard. The community area features a binzebo with a bar, gas grill, dining area, hot tub and lounging under the stars. Lake access just a short drive down the street at park. (entry fees apply) Private parking with gated entrance to resort area and ample parking for your personal watercraft.



On The Rocks Glamping Resort

This is a working farm with a variety of animals. We have chickens, dogs, and honey bees. Activities vary depending on the day. Close to Taylor, tx and 45 min to Austin, tx. There are a few 30 amp RV sites available.

Our off the grid ranch campsite is a place do art with open decks where you can enjoy the great outdoors and more. We're only a couple minutes from the town of Kempner where you'll find a few restaurants. If you are looking for more options drive 15 minutes to Copperas Cove. Just under an hour and a half from Austin Texas and Waco, you'll have plenty to explore! 

Watch movies outside, or stare at the stars that are so bright in the big country sky. We also have telescopes for use. There's wild life, mostly deer, that run though the field. Visit with the horse Glory and donkey, they love apples . There are free range ducks, geese, chickens and one turkey. We love art and music and the great outdoors.

We have dishes, Pots and pans, cooler, games..  Sheet and blankets with pillows on bed.  Lights and fan.  Can even charger your phone.  There potty john here or the ranch has shower and bathroom.  Bring swimming suit for pool and hottub. We'll be adding water, and jacuzzi bathtub  the deck. Have bath under the stars.
