Got snowed in and it was great! The cabin camping is marvelous, lots of animals visit and you’re on a mountainside and most of the sites are decently in the woods. Short walk to your own bathroom that is toasty warm all winter long. Rustic but with stoves indoors which is great when it’s rainy or…
What a great park. Was there in order to go to nearby Cherry Springs SP which is a certified Dark Sky area, to see the stars. Cherry Springs is about 8 miles away. We like staying at Lyman Run since Cherry Springs gets filled pretty quickly. Lyman Run campground is great. There are 2 campgrounds,…
Great family campground with plenty of activities for kids. Tubing down the river is very relaxing and fun

You can't ask for a nicer group of people working there. Everything is clean and there's a ton of activities for the kids. I would definitely come back!
The sites are very cool at this campground. They are very spacious and help you feel closer to nature. The bathrooms are very bad though

This is a really pretty state park. We stayed 2 nights in the upper campground which looks down on the lake. We got there on a Thursday, stayed in a site with electric and it was really pleasant. On Friday night the place filled up and we realize that the electric sites were pretty tightly…
We really enjoyed this campground. The sites were spacious, everything was clean and well kept. The staff was SO nice! It was also a gated entrance which was nice. We will definitely return.
We lucked out and grabbed a spot for a night on 4th of July.
No fireworks to speak of (just a few friendly neighbors with sparklers), but it was perfect for exploring the gorge.
The hike down to the river was steep but manageable (could be trickier after a heavy rain).
Wish we would've brought…

Stayed for the weekend at site 25 at the lower campground. Site was next to the bathrooms but no problems noise. Nice and quiet overall. Bathrooms were very clean with nice hot water in the showers. There are pit toilets but they are well maintained and there was no smell even though it was hot…
Beautiful primitive campground (tent only). Get a site on the outside towards the water. They are spaced out and peaceful. Has restrooms (no shower), picnic table, and fire pit at each site. Short walk to creek and beautiful pond.

It was fun trying to use maps along with gps to find our way to the campground. There is zero cell service/WiFi at the park, or for at least 5-10 miles from it. The sites are clean, flat, and spaced nicely on the northwest end, but a little too open and feels crowded on the eastern end. Bathrooms…

In terms of PA State Parks, this one is ok. There is a pool (with a fee) that is pretty nice. The campground is small and functional. Would stay here again but not something I would seek out.
Nice little spot with no one around. Maybe 2-3 cars passed on the SF road each day. Primitive camping with picnic table and fire ring - that’s it. Have to carry your gear from your car a little ways. Very close to the MST. Only complaint was that there was a beautiful creek behind it with no trail.…

Nice little campground. Very quiet. Sites are generously sized. Roads are paved. The lake is very small with a swimming beach area.
My wife found his camp ground for a midweek get away. We had Site 50 with a lake view, this site was level and ease to park our Small Camper . I would highly recommend this camp ground for those with smaller RVs
