Farm animals roam the grounds at Double Rainbow Farm, where campers can interact with horses, including Benjamin, reportedly a standout among Pennsylvania's equines. This private campground sits on forested terrain near both river and lake access, offering swimming in an on-site pond. Farm tours provide insight into daily operations while nearby Allegheny National Forest trails extend hiking opportunities beyond the property boundaries.
The $75 drive-in sites accommodate RVs and tents with advance reservations available. Campers seeking a more traditional forest experience might consider Buckaloons, located within the national forest itself.
