Nice local park

Duman lake review notes.

  • Well-maintained small park, stocked lake, popular with local fisherman. Kayaking/small boat fishing. I’ve seen bald eagle and osprey.
  • Six campsites, w/mature trees, level, w/paved drive & gravel area, large enough for mid-sized RVs. They state 40 ft., but all are…

Terrific

Kozy Rest was our first stop with our new TT. It was a wonderful first experience! Employees were happy to help and just to chat. Great camp store and super clean bathrooms and recreation hall. LOVE!

Beautiful

Very clean and helpful camp. Too bad the fishing isn’t the best at yellow creek national park.

Nice & quiet, close to elk.

Nice PA state park campground and close enough to Benezette (elk) with a short (30 minutes) car ride.

Lots of good hiking. The lake’s nice. Facilities are modern and clean.

Cell service is spotty.

Sitenon-electric.

Halloween party

I went here for the first time with 3 other family members for the last camping outing of the year. We went during their trick or treat weekend, it was very entertaining and enjoyable. Almost every campsite was decorated for Halloween and there was plenty of Trick or treaters. If you are into…

Pennsylvania Favorite!

A Pennsylvania favorite, Clear Creek State Park is a beautifully maintained, scenic park, right on the Clarion River in the Clear Creek State Park. The Park offers movies on an outdoor screen, regular nature talks and walks and has an onsite museum. The park has tent sites, RV sites and cabins.…

Beautiful State Park

Grew up going here. Day trips or weekend getaways-it was always a nice time. Love hopping the rocks at the spillway, hiking, looking for crayfish, and swimming in the dam. They have pavilions to have picnics, every lot that we pitched a tent was always nice. Rent paddle boats or canoes. Always a…

Prince Gallitzin SP

A huge park and packed to the brim with campers. Even on a Sunday evening. Parkee told me that normal summer get about 90 to 95% capacity, but with Covid they are surpassing that even during the week. Lucky to get a spot.

Fairly level, shaded sites, ours with electricity. ATT & Verizon signal…

Parker Dam State Park

Real nice park that can get pretty busy on weekends. We arrived on a Thursday and, in advance, reserved one of the few remaining sites. Never used their facilities, but they looked nice. Electric only at our site. Both ATT & Verizon signals weren't bad. Wouldn't try to watch a movie or stream…

Great campground with plenty to do for the kids

This was our first time staying at this Jellystone as we usually go to Mill Run instead.  This park is about half the size of the Mill Run Jellystone but is packed with activities for the kids with some paid and some free.

Nice large generally wooded sites and a paved road bike riding goes…

Plenty of do for everyone

This is probably one of my favorite campgrounds in PA and we like to stay right along the wooded area by beach and playground.

This gives the kids access to water, playground, and a quick trip up to the camp store for ice cream.  We've also rented a pontoon boat for the day from the marina…

Depends what you’re looking for!

This campground was our least favorite of the many we’ve been to this summer, in large part because there were so many people! We stayed in 103 RedOak loop because we had our dogs. The site itself was fine, and there were no hook ups - which we knew- in that section. The mix of tents and smaller…

Nice small park with sites right on the Clarion River

My wife's family has been going here for over 60 years so we make an annual trip up here every year in the fall.

We always get the sites along the river (electric only) which have a great view of the Clarion River with easy access to go out and play when the water is low enough.  Close to…

Awesome area tucked into a wooded hillside.

I camped in the Hillside Loop (Dog Friendly).  Not a bad walk to the lake.  Site was reasonable leave and plenty of room for my 32 foot Motor home and car.
