I pitched a tent here during a bicycle camping weekend in late April 2020 and the restrooms were locked due to Covid restrictions. I was the only camper at the time, but there were a few people using the disk golf area. Nice park with plenty of trees and I was close to a pavilion with a…
We must have camped at part central. Mud lake. Noisy.. crowded. Showers were closed and turned off and the bathrooms were dirty. No longer a favorite place to stay because of the partying. May need to relocate to the other side of the lake.
This is a county operated park located in Oxford, Kansas which is a few miles east off I 35. So it’s a convenient layover, especially considering the cost! If you don’t use the electricity it’s only $3.50 and if you choose to hook up to the electric, which is located on utility poles, then it’s $10…
Bathroom was disgusting, drunks and loud music til 4 in the morning and people hollering. Will not stay again.
I grew up camping at this site and going to festivals down here. It is always maintained and always welcoming
Blah. Dirty. Fees out the nose.
Let’s keep this lake and all other lakes and parks clean. Pick up after yourselves. Practice “leave no trace” leave the area Better than you found it, for the next person can enjoy.
Nice place to camp or spend the day. Just wish people would practice leave no trace, pick up after yourself.
It has a waterfall feature.
It’s a nice quiet little park to camp at and have reunions right in the little town of Oxford with electric and water only. Nice bathroom/ shower house. Two pavilions, playground, freebie golf and basketball ball court.
It’s a small lake but big enough to go fishing and do your boating fun on like skiing , tubing and etc. There is camping around the lake with RV hookups in spots around the lake. A few full hookups, water & electric hookups and many just electric spots.
This lake is nice but small. The camping is OK, however, the city of Winfield never enforces quite hours or patrols the area. If you get unlucky enough to be near a party you will listen to it all night.
Nice little place for reunion or a few campers. Water and electric only. Has nice bathrooms and showers. 2 pavilions. Not to big of a area.
They do have a few sites with electric, sewer and water but have to get there early to get those only bad thing too is not a lot of shade by those on the south side of the lake. A few electric and water only and the lots of electric spots around the lake in areas.
This lake tends to get a little rowdy on the holidays/weekends. The rv sites are not in the best location in regards to the water, so we prefer to camp non electrical here
