Good overnighter

This campground is old and needs improvements but every thing functions. It has a nice clubhouse and staff is friendly and helpful. Don’t expect to get a response using their email reservation system. There are a mix of permanent and transient users. Right off of I-40.

Beautiful trails & wildlife

I love Roman Nose State Park! Have been a few times this season. The trails are all very well marked, and the view at Inspiration Point is flawless (when there's not dam construction)! There are plenty of intersections so you don't have to do a super long trek if you don't want to. I love the…

Beautiful family and pet friendly RV park

This RV park looks like it is brand new. It is beautiful and clean and well maintained. There is a cute store where you check in and a nice fenced playground and dog run. It has a good size clean laundry room and a very nice dog wash. The bathrooms are gorgeous! They pick up your trash right at…

Nice quiet spot

Only stayed one night but would have stayed longer. Quiet place with nice landscaping. Concrete level pull thru with full hookups. Picnic table and fire pit at each lot. Has dog park, basketball court, playground and laundry facilities. Cellular good plus free wifi up to 800mb but can upgrade for…

Clean and quiet!

This is probably one of the nicer locations we've ever stayed. Super clean and quiet. All sites were paved with full hookups!

Immaculate

This is the cleanest campground I have EVER been to. It is amazingly well- maintained and beautifully landscaped. The sites are spacious, but open. Even though the area is open it is quiet and peaceful. There aren’t a lot of “extras” but just enough for a relaxing get away and close enough to…

Amazing!

One of the nicest parks I’ve been to! Super clean showers and bathrooms. Not to mention a basketball court. Also the turbines in the distance make for great scenery.

Nice layout & beautiful trails

I stayed at Camp White Tail. I thought this was a great placement. The grounds had a short (6 minute walk) trail head that made a loop that spit you back on the camp ground.

The only thing that irritated me to the point I was cussing out loud for all the wildlife to hear, was the maps were…

Boiling Springs

We tent camped here for the second time in March. They have 12 tent sites, RV sites and cabins. One of the things I like about this campground is that the bathrooms stay pretty clean. The playgrounds are new and there are plenty of hiking trails. There is a lot of standing water nearby so bring bug…

Peaceful in the off season

We only spent one night, but enjoyed the hiking trail and viewing the spring. A nice respite for weary travelers. Saw some mule deer wandering through in the morning.

Best Oklahoma day-trip

Roman nose has all the amenities you could ask for: cabins, swimming pool, general store, paddle boats, mini golf, picnic spots, fishing, interesting trails, etc etc. but nothing and I mean NOTHING beats the cold and clear fresh water springs on the hot +100 degree days we get!

I recommend…

The NICEST RV Park I've Ever Seen

We visited Wanderlust Crossings RV Park in late October 2020 in the aftermath of a major ice storm that swept across Oklahoma. When we arrived we learned that they had just suffered a power outage from the ice storm and they asked us if we wanted to stay or if we wanted them to cancel our…

Oasis in the Plains

Roman Nose is a popular State Park with many activities to keep you entertained & beautiful scenery. We stayed at RV Site #39 at Two Lakes & enjoyed our stay. It was a clean site with full hookups, picnic table, fire pit and spaced well from the other sites. Traffic was heavy because of the…

A nice, northern OK spot.

My wife, our dog and I went up for a few days in the Spring of 2018. Was a nice location and some really pretty scenery. Not to mention some nice trails. Highly recommend with the great staff they have, and places to explore.
