Dam Site South

We scheduled a 1 night stay at this park. They require a 2 day cancellation made by 4:00 pm. We arrived at our campground in Weatherford Ok and my husband took our 2019 Dodge Ram which pulls our 42’ 5th wheel to the Cummins dealer here to get the front end alighted as nobody has been able to do it. They worked him in today. He got it there by 3 pm today and they dropped him off here at the camper at 5:30 pm. When he came in he said they told him the alignment is the least of our problems. It needed a new lower ball joint on the left front and new hubs on the front. Recommend we not drive it anymore. They had no idea why it hadn’t just stopped. So it’s in the shop awaiting parts IF they can get them. So we’re stuck here at this campground at least until Friday. Thank God Wanderlust extended it until Fri in the same site. I called this KOA and they won’t refund our money because we missed it by an hour and a half! $57 we’ll never see again. I understand there need to be rules but there are extraordinary circumstances sometimes when rules need to be broken!!!!

It’s a great spot on the Lake.
