Trailer park with a lake

Unfortunately, Indian Springs wasn’t our greatest camping experience. We were enroute and only there for one night which was plenty. Our site was dirty and the arrangement of electricity, water and sewer was poor. The campground was gated and it took quite a while for staff to let us in, despite…

Super clean KOA with level gravel sites (no weeds popping up through gravel!) 2 Fenced dog areas, nice playground, game room, giant chess set outside, clean pool.. you name it, this KOA has it! I was impressed when Mike helped me back into my site.. it had a little wooden deck with a picnic table…

Ousbache State Park ,Bluffton Indiana

The filthiest toilet I have ever seen. Flies everywhere. Even down to site 120 where we stayed. Never again.

Our Favorite Campaite of the Summer

State parts are usually good parks, but Indian Lake was our favorite of the summer. A large lake, and large campground. Lots of trailer and tent camping, complete with a beach, boat dock and commissary. The campground had an ice cream stand and showed a movie on Saturday evening for kids in their…

Surprisingly pleasant!

This was our second stay here…campground is surrounded by corn fields but park itself is quite picturesque with mature trees, a lake, and very well-manicured grounds. Many sites have long-term occupants but overnighters just as welcome. Main bathrooms are up front and clean and modern while rustic…

Our favorite state park

Best place ever.  Love the location and everything there is to do.  We always get a place near the boat dock and take our boat and waverunner.

Just OK

The staff was friendly, and good amenities.  Water and electric, playgrounds, swimming hole, fishing ponds...  On Saturday nights, they have a big kettle corn operation that was SO GOOD!  I think they also had a hay ride but we missed it.  The main things we did not like and the reason for 3 stars…

Excellent option

Right in the center of Ft Wayne, IN is Johnny Appleseed Park and its accompanying campground. For $24, we got a day of drive in spot with electrical + water hook-ups and wifi. The campground is well-maintained and very clean. There is not a lot of space between the sites, but it’s still plentiful.…

Pretty big campground

Campground is a large size, sites are decent, lots of fishing areas and a water slide. That’s where the end of the positive things stop. Lots of litter around, dumpsters were always full, staff wasn’t friendly or helpful. RN out of gate cards, office hours not followed. Very loud and rambunctious…

The oweners are nice people. The camp ground is small and clean. There is pull through full hook up sites. But they are full sun and small sites. So no privacy.
