Wonderfully well kept campground

This is a very nice campground near all of the attractions of Hocking Hills, Ohio. We had full hookups that were excellent, but if we didn't there were several new restrooms throughout the grounds. The camp store has the usual stuff you'll find and is always seems to have a friendly attendant behind the counter. There are several fun things for the kids to do, including a very large bounce pad and a pretty nice looking playground. There's a somewhat small swimming area, but it seems to be pretty clean for a pond. The campground is right on Lake Logan and there's access to the water at the bottom of the grounds. There's also boat rentals right around the corner.

Cute little spot fun for kids

This place was really cute. I personally feel like it was a little too open for my liking. I’d rather feel like I’m out in the woods more and maybe a little bit more space between you and your neighbor . However, it was nice. One of the gentlemen that worked there I think also stays during the season. His name is Steve. He is super friendly and helpful. He taught my kids some fishing tricks ! And don’t get me started on the bathrooms!! I have NEVER seen such amazing, clean, nice bathrooms at a campground we decided to use their shower instead of our camper shower !

Campbell cove

My family recently stayed at Campbell Cove for the weekend. Everything appeared new and updated. The sites were nice and level. Nice playground and clubhouse building.

Unfortunately we went during the office season so the clubhouse was closed and the jump pad wasn't up.

We hope to come back someday

My two night stay

This place was delightful, staff there were friendly and welcoming. Wifi is all over campground. Sites were clean and well kept. My campsite 137 did have some hay but that didn’t bother me. Sometimes you hear road traffic but this campground has kayaking there for 15 per hour, very clean bathrooms, ice and firewood, and is spacious.

Relaxing

Extremely relaxing and enjoyable. It was extremely hot when we were there and it’s not shaded well in the full hook up area. Really could use a pool but instead has ponds you can swim in. We loved it here and definitely will go back.

Our favorite!

We go to Hocking Hills often, and if we are staying for the weekend to camp, this is the main place we go.  The lakefront sites are best.  Bathroom and showers are immaculate.  Great atmosphere!  We have been during all seasons.

Found a new gem!

Great campground, close to everything you would wanna see! Bathrooms and showers are super clean and updated. Lots of stuff for kids to do! Swimming, Great Lake spots, fishing, playground, game room/arcade, jump pad, etc. Tent spots clear and comfy! Nice clean fire pits and picnic tables! Great for groups. We stayed in site 60 and 59- convenient location to shower house, lake, and swimming/playground. Would definitely recommend!

Great Place!

When we went on our first adventure to Hocking Hills we chose to go Primitive and booked a site here. We were not disappointed. Our site was waterfront and also set away from other sites. We had a great time here and it felt like we were in the woods but there was a business district about 3 mins away which was really convenient. Lake Logan was spectacular.

Great Location to Old Man's Cave

We loved the location of Campbell Coves to Old Man’s Cave and hiking trails. We do a family trip to the area every fall and this will be our go-to location. We've already booked for fall 2021. We stayed in one of the rustic cabins. With other family members bringing their RVs. The bathroom facilities were some of the nicest and cleanest we’ve experienced. My parents had an RV site overlooking the lake. I wouldn’t tent camp there. The tent sites were all in the same area with no division from each other. They are expanding and can’t wait to see those offerings.

Peaceful Lakeside Camping

Our favorite place to camp. Kayaking on the lake is amazing and hiking is abundant. Beautiful sunset view.

Never stay here

It’s not often that I write a review but this place demands one. Campbell Cove was hands down one of the worst experiences I have had camping. Don’t come here to camp or sleep. The sites are on top of each other. Zero quite time hours enforced. I can say with certainty you will not sleep here at Campbell Cove. Many, many disrespectful people partying and banging car doors to well past 3:30 AM. I was unable to find water or trash bins around the camp. Campbell Cove has very poorly marked sites and parking. Never stay here.
