Quite an unpleasant drive to the campsite

We stopped here for the night on our way to Indiana. It rained on us the entire time which made the drive to the site even worse. It’s a very bumpy, dirt road. It may not have been as bad without the rain. Once we arrived at our site, we realized we didn’t have a long enough cord to plug in! A lot…

Nice, quiet campground

This is a smaller campground with some full timers or seasonal campers. We stayed a week and enjoyed our time there. We had lots of rain so we didn’t get outside as much as we wanted. The sites were grassy and mostly level. Trees added shade throughout. The laundry room was older but clean and less…

Old Time Rockin’ Charm!

The site was perfect! We were only there for one night but it couldn’t have been better! Even for primitive sites the bathroom facilities were great!! Very clean! The little store was adorable, stage area with the names of all the performers is awesome, great musical history, friendly staff,…

Great place for a long weekend

We stayed in lot A-14. They are all gravel lots, but nice and level. The lake is clean and has a decent beach. You can rent kayaks for cheap. Has a pretty decent grocery store on site. The bathrooms are huge and clean. Wifi is good at our lot. Kids had fun with basketball, dodgeball, fishing and…

Beautiful campground and park

Would give 5 stars except for the poor cleaning of boathouse near campsite 007.

  • Good campsite with lots of shade

Lovely!

What a wonderful place to spend time! This family run campground is immaculately kept! We enjoyed the peaceful site we had and had nothing but friendly interactions. Brenda and Doug are super sweet and accommodating, not to mention, very inspirational! Highly recommend this little gem of a getaway.…

Pretty big campground

Campground is a large size, sites are decent, lots of fishing areas and a water slide. That’s where the end of the positive things stop. Lots of litter around, dumpsters were always full, staff wasn’t friendly or helpful. RN out of gate cards, office hours not followed. Very loud and rambunctious…

Your mileage may vary

I’m glad we stayed four nights here. It gave us enough time to see both good and bad from this lovely state park. The bad included small sites, overcrowding, and a lot of raccoon activity. But the good was beautiful scenery, lots of amenities, a wonderful camp store, and a lot of friendly people!

Kids, don’t try this at home

While staying in the area, we decided to go check out this campground for a future stay. When we arrived at the road leading to the entrance (marked only by colorful flags) there was an event blocking us from getting to the campground itself. About a dozen golf carts were lined up to participate…

Lovely !

Sauder Village is extremely well maintained and clean! Beautiful views of corn and farmland. The historical village is an easy 10 minute stroll and worth visiting!

I liked it

I spent one night here with my two dogs on Memorial Day weekend and I was much more impressed with this location than I thought I was going to be.

The park itself is very narrow and long, and stretches down the Maumee River bank.  It's very green with lots of trees and shade cover.  The paved…

The Peace and Quiet of God's Nature!

Great find, off the beaten path.  En Gedi Campground and Canoe Livery is family owned and operated. In all they have about 30 campsites and a few cabins available.  There are four full hook-up sites and the rest are water/electric.  The electric is 30 amp.  The sites are pretty large and all…

Great for families and group camping

If you're traveling with kids or enjoy the community of being near your fellow campers this is a great option. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat this may be a bit loud and busy. However, the many amenities are a great way to find peace with the 9 lakes, 12 trails and a beach for swimming.…
