Hidden Gem
We’ve stayed here several times over the years and it’s always a pleasant experience. Lots of seasonal campers, but most are only in residence on the weekends. During the week we have the place to ourselves. Clean facilities, the standard picnic table and fire ring. Incredible sunsets, lake breeze and nothing but the crashing of the waves to lull you into a peaceful nights rest.

Great campground. My favorite is each loop has their own shower house! Nice playgrounds for kids. Nice private sites. Lots of woods and trails. Good lake for boating fishing and kayaking. Park is very clean and well maintained. They have a kids fishing pond! It’s also great for biking.

Great State Park Campground
I spent one night passing through the area after visiting Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The hedges separating the campsites provides some privacy and it was a quiet location.
The park’s beach on Lake Erie is nearby. While hidden by the landscaping, the bathhouse was conveniently located and the path well lit without detracting from the camping experience at the campsite.

Great for kids
This campground has a lot to do for kids. It on the Mohican River for tubing or kayaking. They have a swimming pool, playground, putt putt, climbing wall, and recreation room. There were plenty of showers that were cleaned daily. Nice laundry facilities and camp store. The bad part is the sites are too close. Your fire ring is a few feet from your neighbor.

Deshler, OH offers a campground in Crossroads Park, famous for 4 sets of train tracks and the ability to see trains from all over. This campground is best suited for train enthusiasts, because you are with 10-20 feet of the tracks. There is a grassy field for tent8ng and parking spots near the pavilion for RV's. It is not big right friendly. Max trailer size should be about 20'. There is a porta potty on-site as well as electrical outlets and a covered pavilion with picnic tables. Gas and convenience stores nearby. Suggested donation is $20/night.

Its a beautiful campsite surrounded by trees with a lake right in the middle of the park. They do provide fire wood though its not always guaranteed. If you like waking up in front of a lake or always dreamt of doing it. This is the place to go. Oh, and a great fishing spot. The lake is always stocked
