Great time

Very easy to find campsite. Plenty of space Fe our vehicle, a fire pit and grill area. Just overall a great experience.

Beautiful Park

Beautiful park right on the Spokane River with lots of hiking. Very clean and well maintained. The park rangers were friendly and helpful. We will stay here again!

Nice little campground

We stayed in site #4 which was right at the end with glimpses of the Palouse through the trees and lots of space. You could easily set up 2 tents there. It was $15 a night plus $5 for an extra car. Nice campground, clean, trash cans at each site and a pit toilet. There’s a little trail at Kamiak…

Beautiful park near Pallose Falls

Awesome park near Dayton and Palouse Falls. Absolutely NOTHING, including cell service nearby, which made this open campground in a winter wheat field absolutely perfect!

The hosts/owners are good people, who are accommodating, and welcoming. Will definitely be back and enjoyed the gem.

Rough getting in.

It was rough roads getting here and the terrain is fairly void of trees.

My car got scraped up a bit as it sits a bit low to justify coming back to this area.

Once I got up there I really enjoyed the views but it was hot and hard to find cool shady areas to cool off.

Instead of coming during…

On the River

We visited this KOA for several years on 4th of July to visit a concert in Walla Walla. In the early days this KOA was nothing more than dirt tent sites. Since then, it has developed into a nice campground with mature trees for shade and grass at each site. The river is easy access for launching…

Near Nature Near Perfect

We actually live right down the road from this park and now a days, hike here regularly. But back in the day, we camped here a few times when a big vacation was not an option. This is a nice little campground with plenty of tent sites and trails to check out.  It is really close to Spokane but is…

Nice spot, not well run

This is a beautiful location with great trails.  It is a short walk to the river where there is great fishing.  Bathrooms were clean and the park overall was super nice.  We pulled in around 4pm and were quickly greeted by the camp host once we had chosen a site.  We explained we wanted to stay two…

Ok spot in scenic setting

We stopped here in our RV for a night on our way through. The campground isn’t anything to write home about, and seems to cater to fishermen. We thought the setting was scenic, but that’s about it. Wouldn’t want to spend more than a night here.

Wide open spaces

Finally a park where you have a little space between RVs. Full RV hook-up and internet for $35 per night. The owner drives through the park daily to say "Hi" and check on you visit.

Stop in and check them out!

Labor Day 2020

We went camping here on Labor Day 2020, the campsite is fairly nice, although there is no shade. The pictures that are uploaded must be from a long time ago. The campsite ended up being full, so we camped on top of the ridge and rode mini bikes around the fields. Not many trails to drive on. Fairly…

Busy campground, ,close to town

This campground is close to town and close to some wonderful hiking areas if you’re looking to explore Riverside State Park or downtown Spokane. It also has nice bathrooms with showers and flush toilets. We stayed in one of the standard sites, site 18 and it was right on the road into the park so…
