Hidden gem on the coast

Usually the coast is off limits for me, due to the overcrowding. Westport, WA is a nice exception. Great seafood, and plenty of water based activities. Try visiting the nearby Westport Winery for good food, great wine and a beautiful garden.

Great spot right in town

If you have military access this is a great spot right near the main town and waterfront.

If you don't have a military Id there is a state park five miles south of the point. Twin Harbors Beach State Park. It's right against the beach but the sites themselves are not on the beach. They have a small line of trees to protect you from the wind.
