Loved It!!!!

Relatively new campground. They are in process of completing a playground and dog walk. They have a pool and hot tub. All laundry, bathroom and shower facilities require a code. Sites are average. Some come with grills and patio furniture. All come with picnic tables. Lush grass sites, very clean.…

Pretty decent if it's not busy

I love heading here to tent camp out of my car, I own a sedan and it's easy to get to on gravel roads, they have outhouses nearby that are regularly stocked and you can camp feet from long lake and enjoy the open air. during some months their is cattle in the area and they come down to the lake in…

Great place for a night

I was skeptical about this place because it is part of an RV storage area and very close to the highway. However, I was pleasantly surprised. It is very well maintained, very neat, irrigated grass for each site. The campground is one loop with back in sites on the perimeter and pull-through sites…

  • Full hook ups.
  • Typical pull through site.
  • Asphalt loop around the park

The Worst RV Park

This is the most horrible RV site we’ve visited. If it wasn’t so late in the day I would have gladly lost my $50/nite and would rather camp in a mall parking lot. It has mostly long term folks living here, it’s run down, dirty, right off the freeway and rates way too high for this dilapidated…

Great little hidden gem

This park is a few miles the main highway, but worth the drive. Lots of space between sites, grass, full hook ups. Friendly hosts, very peaceful.

Nostalgia in the sand

I came here every year as a kid and just came back for the first time as an adult. I love camping in the sand, we always stayed among the willow trees. Wake up hot and jump in the reservoir. It can be crowded on the weekends, but many of the sites in the willows provide a good deal of privacy. This…

Clean Park

Clean bathrooms, green lawns everywhere, nice big campsite, and nice family beach area. Lots of garbage cans everywhere but no recycling. The showers were kind of dirty. When you reserve online they don’t allow you to pick your site and so you get what you get and we ended up with a view of the…

The campground was beautiful. Close to the river. Pull through rv sites, with plenty of room for second vehicle or boat. With boat dock. However, we woke to a lot (hundreds) of huge spiders 🕷😳 all over our rv and cars. They were everywhere.

Very Comfortable with Manicured Lawn and tons of space

Lots of options in this campground from drive through big trailer spots to back in spots to tent only areas.

Tons of wide green lawns with lots of space, camp sites end up pretty well spaced apart so you might only have 2 or 3 neighbors then a ton of lawn before another neighbor.

  • Nearby walkable wildlife and fishing area.
  • Drive through spot on the Snake river near the back of the loop.
  • View from some of the river spots of the shipping across the river.

Great place

Great campground. It was very quiet. Sites had plenty of space between them. Great location. Even had WiFi. Not great WiFi but still. It was a nice place.

Quiet except for train

Camped here from Tuesday through Saturday. Campground was quiet and clean. Be aware of what campsite you get as we picked spot 27 and we’re not made aware before hand that you need an escort to your site due to the site facing the opposite way of traffic. It is also right off of the train tracks…

Great state park

Easy pay station at gate and dump station 32$ for 1 dump. Has a loop trail though the park in dense foliage and goes by the small river in the back of the park. Sites are very secluded from each other very private two group areas.

  • entrance sign on north side of road
  • my camp site by the entrance more secluded ones in the back around the loop
  • looking south from the campground entrance towards the picnic area across the road

Private Sites, No Hook-Ups

I've stayed here twice on trips between Missoula and Portland and I love this little gem of a park, right off the highway. There's a little stream to sit or wade, the sites have tall trees and lots of privacy. The camp host was super helpful and suggested some places to check out that I would not…
