Best RV park I have stayed at in washington

This place is great. Super rustic, tons of things for kids to get into, water was clean, power was solid.

Heads up, your cell coverage will be spotty here. (Bring a book). :)

Great secluded camps

As we drove through looking for the best spot we noticed there were several quality spots. We opted for a spot right by potters pond. It was very spacious and was walking distance from the dock and a toilet facility. However the toilet was very foul and we opted out of using it. The spots we saw…

Added to our yearly campsite

A great campground with river access and boat launch. Site 16 and others feel my like a private campground trees in between each site and lots of privacy. limited to no cell service  to get away from it all. Have fun exploring the area around with many outdoor attractions. Is on our calendar for a…

Tons of Amenities

This place has showers and bathrooms which were great after a day floating on the river which is just a short drive away. Great tent camping with group camping available. Sites have a lot of room, table, fire pit, garbage can and easy walk to rest of campground.

Anniversary Car camping

My husband and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary. It's a huge private property with a lot of amenities at each site. Ours had camp chairs, table, bucket for water, fire ring, lighter. Very pretty views.

Rad free campground!!

This place is absolutely charming. If you need to stop on a long journey and don't want to find a spot to dispersed camp, you can find vault toilets here as well as a small swimming lagoon. Traffic noise is consistent but not loud or close enough to keep you up at night. Close to 6 camping spots we…

Great Camp

Right on Skookum Creek and very quiet. Nice spots spaced quite far apart. Grassy with fire rings and tables. Sometimes people stay awhile because it’s so nice. Lots of area to the NE to hike.

Paved roads

Busy place in the summer. Well used campground with sites close together. The beach is good but not great. All the spaces are paved.

Had a blast

We stayed here a week in late July. Weather was great for hanging out in the lake all day swimming and kayaking. We had no problem getting around in our 50 ft rig. We got 2 sites side by side for our camping partners. Nice grassy area for group activities. A thunder and lightning storm 1 night to…

Small quiet USFS campground

We stayed here mid-September 2020. This is a smaller facility with just 8 sites. We picked site #17 on a rise at the end of the loop. We chose it as it was close to the clean vault toilet and it had a separate picnic table nearby on a hill. The fee is $24 which is a bit steep but there was no extra…

Hike by morning, water by afternoon!

We really enjoy this campground if you can snag the bigger campsite to spread out!  It has the cleanest pit toilets' I have ever seen (seriously!) Whoever they hired does an amazing job! The boat launch is an easy place to put in kayaks or motor boats.  The trail along the lake offers beautiful…

Flyfishing get away

A quiet gem back in the woods with a lake perfect for kayaking or flyfishing. No motor boats and just a single trail that is a mile long, it has several generous sized campsites and a porta potty available. It does NOT have running water, but you can always scoot down to South Skookum lake to get…

Great place to camp!

This place has whatever you are looking for in a campground. RV sites with full hookups for water/electric/sewer, there are outdoor or private indoor showers, it's ADA accessible, there's also a great outdoor kitchen and BBQ area. There are equipment rentals that are reasonably priced as well.

Remote, secluded, no services, narrow gravel roads

If you like camping completely self contained, this is for you.  There is a pit toilet (locked due to current COVID restrictions), and a fire ring at each dispersed campsite.  No water, except for the creek, and not even any cell phone reception.  Parking is level.  Roads into the area are narrow…

  • A panoramic view of our site (3 shots stitched together); plenty of room.
