Hidden Grove RV Resort offers fishing, camping, and boating in the middle of a pristine Texas countryside. Our RV sites offer full hookups with 20/30/50amps and concrete pads with your choice of back-in or pull-through sites. We also have luxury cabins and primitive campsites.  Our convenience store provides for your necessities with plenty of snacks and ice cream to treat yourself and your family. After exploring our hiking trails, you can relax or get some work done with our wifi. We also offer a laundry room, restrooms and showers.  We have fire pits to sit relax and cook some smores.

## Overview

Sanders Cove Campground is on the banks of Pat Mayse Lake in the Red River Basin in Lamar County, Texas. Easy access to developed park areas has made the lake a haven for families who enjoy camping, picnicking, swimming, boating, fishing and other outdoor recreation. 

## Recreation

The lake provides excellent opportunities for boating, swimming and fishing. Anglers fish for largemouth bass, white crappie, sunfish, striped bass and channel and flathead catfish, among other species.  
  
Hunting is a very popular activity in the area. The surrounding lands are managed for upland game and whitetail deer. Other species present include fox squirrel, gray squirrel, bobwhite quail, mourning dove, cottontail rabbit, raccoon and fox. Opossum, beaver, mink, skunk and nutria are also present.  
  
The lake also provides resting and feeding habitat for migratory waterfowl. A few miles north of the project area are the famed Red River Bottoms where waterfowl congregate in impressive numbers.

## Facilities

This year-round campground offers 85 sites with electric hookups. Amenities include flush and pit toilets, showers, drinking water, a dump station and boat ramp.

## Natural Features

Pat Mayse Lake covers almost 6,000 acres and has 67 miles of shoreline. It is situated among gently rolling grasslands and mixed hardwood forests studded with mature pines. Wildlife is abundant in the surrounding area.

Located on the north shore of the 750-acre Coffee Mill Lake, East Coffee Mill Recreation Area was completed in 1968 with additional major construction done by volunteers in the early 1990s. 10 Sites with Picnic Tables and fire Pits surrounded by Woods, Creeks and pasture. Unbelievable sunsets, skies and stars! 4 Ponds, 50 one hundred year old Pecan Trees 40+ Acres are woods and 60 of pasture land. Free range Horses, donkeys and goats plus raccoons, Egrets and deer... all friendly and curious. Sites are all very large and separated by at least 100 Yards. Do you like to chiggers? No! Who does? Well, because of the close proximity to the South Sulphur river they can't live here! Explore The 100 Acres play family games and treat your furry friends to the vast outdoors. The nearest residential neighborhood is 3 miles away and the nearest occupied country homes are over a thousand ft away and not visible!

Doctors Creek Unit - Cooper Lake State Park

Dancing Deer Meadow in Red River Sandbox Camping area offers a space for campers to catch a glimpse at the site's rehabilitation animals. You are invited to take photos of the animals. There are tents available for rent for $10/night. Bring cash to pay for the tents. 

 There are 2 sites, with up to 12 guests per site. In the nearby Red River, you'll have the opportunity to swim and fish. Or enjoy more terrestrial activities such as horseback riding, hiking or wildlife watching.
