Great C.C.C. park

Beautiful state park with a golf course, swimming pool and a creek that runs through it.

Great C.C.C. park

Our family favorite, shaded campsites with a small ox bowl lake for fishing.

Nice small park, a few sites have full hookup

This is a great little park right in the town of Blanco. Sitting right on the river it gives you the feel of being in the country. Nice for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. There is one loop that has FHU’s

This site was not at all private. It seemed like part of the sitting area was literally on the trail for those walking to further sites out. However, I am still giving 5 stars because the fireflies were absolutely stunning. I highly encourage you to take a walk during the night down to the river,…

The park is nice , access to river to relax and cool off. 80 percent of the park is residents the only spots available for weekends is in direct sun. If you want a fire you need to rent a fire ring and buy the wood from them. The staff was not real friendly. There’re was only one young lady there…

Nice trails, but limited if you have dogs

It was a little confusing for me trying to figure out where the trails started since it was my first time there. I had gone to it yesterday with my two dogs and fiancé. We got to the visitor center to see the map of the trails offered (about 5-6 different ones) and we found that there were only 2…

Great amenities!

This park is a little nicer than ones we stay in, but we really enjoyed it. The park is right on the awesome bike path and we were able to park and not drive anywhere for the week-long stay. We biked downtown to check everything out and also biked to the missions. It’s awesome being so close to the…

Good park, no easy river access

Great for water, electric connections. The park is just a mix of tourists and regular tenants. Kinda junkyard feel at first. They do have friendly check in staff as well as tiny hut at checkin that is a makeshift store aswell. The bathrooms have potential but were not cleaned or stocked with any…

Wildflowers and Cool Showers

We are newbies with no experience pulling a trailer. We’ve previously been tent campers, but Covid-isolation affected our brains, and we bought a Cargo trailer that we’re converting into a comfortable travel trailer for the 2 of us. We are retired, and contemplating just living out of our…

Excellent Resort

Plan to stay here as long as you can. We made this an overnight stop. Big mistake. One cannot even explore this park in a day, let alone see San Antonio. Amenities, to list a few are: pool, mini golf, pickle ball, rec hall, community fire pit and more. Visit the River Walk and Alamo! You need at…

Very nice spot

When you first roll up I felt a bit skeptical. Surrounding area appeared to be rough bars on windows Homeless foot traffic seemed high. Once you get inside the park it changed. Very well kept up park no trash anywhere and friendly people. Our spot fit my 33 ft bumper pull and mega cab just right.…
