Cost doesn’t match to what you get.

Stayed here for our first time. The site we were out was extremely uneven. Missing chunks of pavement. If you’re going to charge $40/night make sure to maintain the sites to those standards not $10/nught standardsz

Beautiful lake, good travel stop

Average at best

Checkin is too time consuming. A line of RV’s to check in and one attendant to complete the checkin. Beautiful lake and open spaces. Sites were disappointing. Our site had two spots on it but a single water spout. We borrowed a Y connection for another site to get by. There are no camp hosts…

Depends what you are looking for..

If you are looking to soak in nature...Nope. Though it does have a nice pretty lake and some nice cliff backdrops.

If you are looking for quiet...nope

If you are looking for cheap...nope. I booked online for $17 and then had to pay $16 entry fee on top of that. For a primitive campground.

Nice get away in Lubbock

Overall, a pretty nice place to camp. Sites are clean and maintained. Same for public facilities. Marina, and restaurant at the boat ramps with live music on the weekends, in the warmer months. Fishing is pretty decent too. Place does get pretty packed on holidays, and tends to get alil rowdy and…
