Reasonably priced wooded campground

Nice wide wooded sites right in the Cooks Forest area.  Close to plenty of amenities such as canoe / kayak trips on the Clarion river, right next to Clear Creek and Cooks Forest State Parks, and right down the road from the Farmers Inn.

We're always looking for new campgrounds in this area and…

Treasure Lake KOA

We loved the campground. It is very close to I80, however, there is a 5 mile drive thru a housing development where the 25 MPH speed limit is enforced by an overly zealous security guard.

Twin Lakes Rec Area ANF

A great place to visit! Camp hosts are friendly and helpful. There are 50 campsites, which 23 have 20 and 30 amp electrical service. At the moment there is NO water here, however the dump station is operative.  BTW, we've camped here for over 30 years, and we have loved this place so much we've…

Great super friendly campground

We saw a few bad reviews about the owner being rude but my family and I had the complete opposite reaction. Both the owner and staff were super friendly and the campground seemed nice. The hookups are a little bit farther to the back of the site but we were able to reach with our 50 foot water and…

Super great stay

Just pulled in here last minute feeling tired and I was able to get a perfect spot in a lovely field all to myself. I don’t really care about hook ups but there’s full hook ups here and I have a nice flat private spot. The owners are super nice and accommodating and it’s near a lot of great…

Nice place

Very nice place. Peaceful and pleasant. Nice moon views and away from hustle and bustle. Only turn off was a man that worked there that kept making sure your outside light were turned off. Annoying

Affordable and private

Shen staying at two mile you will find the sites are separated by trees and offer you your own little private area. The prices are good and you truly are in nature.

Stayed 3 days, 2 nights from a Sunday-Wednesday and we practically had the place to ourselves. Helpful staff, clean bathrooms!

Comes as advertised! Really nice spot!

The spot I stayed is right on the marker.  There are multiple spots along the main forest road. Some you can drive your car in and tuck it back. Other spots you cant take your car at all.   There are tons of logging roads that split off the main forest road. They mostly have gates that say "Logging…

Affordable, nice atmosphere

We stayed in the pet friendly area for 4 days. Very nice campers, bathrooms very clean. Even with half the spaces open, still felt a little crowded.

Perfect

Lovely park and campground on the Clarion River.

Was impressed by the quiet campers. Folks were very friendly, but nighttime was silent.

Lots of space for long walks, and there are trailheads right at the campground if you want to get to explore. I took the dogs on the Truby Trail.

None of the…

Lost the reservation

I will not be going back. They lost our reservation and the staff was very rude. After they lost the reservation they blamed me and did not take responsibility until days later. They charged my account and were very reluctant to return my money. This was very disappointing after taking time off of…
