Do not recommend

I would not recommend this campground. Please be aware that 148 -149 sites are located near a small pond and not an actual lake as shown on pictures. The area 148-153 sites is located right next to the Roosevelt highway and it makes it impossible to enjoy nature and silence due to the trucks and…

Christmas tradition

Worlds End is one of my favorite parks. I love staying in a cabin for Christmas. Park is very clean, nice bathrooms. Lots of trees for privacy and great trails. If you have never been this one should definitely be on your list. Almost all the cabins are right next to the stream. Falling asleep to…

Central and well organized

This campground is great! We had an amazing time despite the rain. The campgrounds are central to everything in the state park and allow access to lots of great trails. (Sand Springs was our favorite) There we plenty of trees around to hang tarps and clotheslines. The facilities exceeded…

Great family campground

This place only gets 4 stars because I thought we were going to have water and electric hook ups. They only have 2 kinds of sites, modern electric (only electric) and primitive. They have a potable water station and dump station and very few sites with electric hook up. They also have specific pet…

Decent spot

I ended up arriving 25 minutes late. I drove through 45 minutes of heavy thunderstorms. When I pulled up, the counter girls ride was being passive aggressive obviously mad that I was holding her up. I tried my best to be in and out quickly. The counter girl was fantastic and sweet. I had a…

Amazing Place to Camp

We loved camping here. There is so much exploring to do. So much so, we made plans to come back really soon to do some more! We spent time at the awesome visitors center, the Shades of Death trail, the Boulder Field, the swimming beach, and spent lots of time hiking and taking in the beauty of this…

Pretty Camping in the Poconos

We had a nice four night stay here. Very pretty wooded sites. Fairly close together but trees provide some privacy. Nice lake for swimming. Visitors Center has nice educational programming. Overall very pleasant camping on no close to NYC.

Roomy sites

We had a great night at this campground. Overall it's a pretty large campground, and there sites were a nice size. We were there on a weeknight and basically had the primitive area to ourselves.

Very Nice, Neat & Well Done

We were Motorcycle camping and came in on a Holiday weekend without a reservation. But we were given a terrific tent site. The park was very neat and well manicured. Bathrooms were fairly nice, but no TP mid day. The sites were a little close to each other and where we were in the park was a mixed…

Relaxing with a lot to do!

This campground is awesome. There is a lot to do in and around this park - such as hiking and swimming. The only con is that there are a ton of sites so it can get quite loud if all sites are booked. A pro? The campground store has anything you may need that you forgot to pack.

Our non-electric…

Nice park setting

We stayed one night in site 110. It was level and the utilities were good. There were beautiful old trees throughout, playgrounds, and open grassy areas to separate the site clusters. The bathroom was pretty good, but only two showers. When we were there, the park was full and very busy, so it…

Busy campsite with lots to do

The campground has spacious sites, and is very busy with lots of families coming and going in our two day stay. People were very respectful of quiet hours at night, and in the morning it was loud with playing children as people woke up. Our site was near to the bathrooms, which are decent and…
