Beavers Bend Acorn Campground

We stayed 5 nights in Acorn campground at site AC009.  The sites are offset a bit, so even with side by side neighbors you felt like you had your own space.  There is water and electrical where we were.  Not far out of this campground was a dual dump site.  There is plenty to do from hiking trails…

BlueJay Drive

I had campsite 15 and it was probably one the prettiest ones on the drive. The campsites were closer together than I expected them to be so if you’re trying to not be around people, this one might not work. We could hear other campers and their arguments. Regardless it was a nice peaceful place. It…

First time in our Patriot Camper

Picked up our care in Durant Oklahoma via Australia. Stayed on the water for two nights it was wonderful no bugs, just a campground, not much else around if you want to be alone not a bad place.

Sweet spot!!

We stayed in the Carson Creek, Turkey Loop spot 4, and it was awesome. It was a great little spot with full hookups and right in the middle of town, so we were only 20 minutes max from everything!! We will be back for sure.

Great experience

Beaver’s Bend is definitely a popular place, but it didn’t feel overcrowded. We were there from Sunday to Tuesday. We stayed at a RV site next to the river. And no mosquitos! Very pretty views.

Beautiful. Simply, beautiful!

This place is terrific! Awesome view, abundant wildlife (we had a bald eagle perched across the cove from us for two days, when he wasn’t flying up and down the channel) and very peaceful. Fish from your tent pad if you wish because most are within 15 feet from the water.

We are seasoned tent…

Clean, Nice level lots

We just stayed 4 nights. Easy access off the Highway. Nice level lots with plenty of room behind to set up tables and games. Clean. Highway noise is a little loud but it does die down at night so no problem sleeping.

Small but pretty state park

We tent camped here in April. We got here in the dark and it was hard to find a a spot but when we woke up the next morning we had a great view of the lake. The bathroom near the office was newer and had showers that you need quarters to use. Also had an old school playground but the kids had fun.…

Beautiful Park

Over all a great park. Easy drive in and out. Reservations are made easily online and can easily get you fishing license for out of state online. Had a great spot along the bend and enjoyed the relaxing weather. Decent prices for renting canoes. Allowed dogs on them as well. Big plus being a solo…

Hidden gem!

Stayed here for 3 nights summer of 20. Every site had an unobstructed view of the lake due to the unique terraced landscapes. Paved, mostly level sites with good power 30 and 50A service and shade. No sewer but the dump station is right at the exit. Great little swim beach just across the water and…

Great stop! Friendly and well kept

This is my first KOA, and the whole place is well kept, clean, and updated. Staff are extremely helpful and even helped when we needed to extend our stay. Would stay here again in the future!
